120GB 120G Internal HDD Hard Drive Disk Disc for Xbox360 Xbox 360 S Slim Games

I bought this HWAYO internal hard drive to expand the storage on my Xbox 360, and I’m very happy with it. Installation was super easy—it fit perfectly into the console without any tools or hassle. The system recognized it immediately, and I was able to start saving games, DLCs, and profiles right away. The performance is excellent: games load quickly, I haven’t experienced any errors, and everything runs smoothly. The design also matches the console nicely, which is a nice bonus. If you’re looking to upgrade your Xbox 360 storage without spending too much, this HDD is a great choice. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and has definitely improved my gaming experience.

After my old Xbox 360 failed, i bought a new to me one, which unfortunately did not have a storage drive. Since Microsoft has discontinued these some time ago now, I was stuck finding an alternative to the OEM. This unit is the best priced plug and play option I could fine. The unit pricing is right in line with a normal drive of this capacity (in my case 500 GB). Speed is top notch, and the overall ease of install is straight forward.

Works like a charm! Only thing that sucks is you can't play the backward compatible original Xbox games because it doesn't have that function in this drive compared to the OEM Microsoft HHD'S

Works flawlessly just as if it was a OEM drive from Microsoft without the Microsoft price tag. OEM drives are a little hard to find these days without either getting lucky at a pawnshop or spending way more than what they are worth. These drives are awesome. Zero issues.

Simple plug and play for the 2nd generation of Xbox 360

This hard drive works great, and is much cheaper than the official Microsoft version. If you are looking for a hard drive so your Xbox 360 will be backwards compatible with your old original Xbox games, this will not work out of the box. You can modify the hard drive to get this function to work. You will need a cable to connect this to your computer, and I ended up having to install it in my laptop monetarily to get the final step finished. There are videos on YouTube that will show you what to do. If you don't feel comfortable with doing this, then you may want to spring for the more expensive Microsoft one. If you do buy this with the intention of modifying it, please find the instructions online and fully understand what you are getting into first before you buy it. I chose to mod this hard drive and it now works great. We can play the old games, and have plenty of storage space for everything. Some of the old games will still not work though. Microsoft has a list posted online of games that they support backwards compatibility on. We have been using it for 3 months without a single error or problem.

This unit worked very well and gave new life to an old xbox 360 slim unit I had which never had a hard drive. I wanted to be able to play some of the original xbox games out there but my xbox 360 did not have a drive with the compatibility files. To use this for that purpose you need two additional things. First you will need to locate something like the software FATXplorer64 which will allow you to load the files in this drive. Second, I found that rather than using an Xbox original cable, you can use a cable sold here on Amazon to connect this drive to your computer: SABRENT USB 3.0 to SSD / 2.5 Inch SATA I/II/III Hard Drive Adapter. The trick to getting this to work is to use the FATXplorer64 software. You open the software, and one of the features is to enable file transfer. When you do this, your computer will see the drive and let you install the files. After they were installed, all I did was remove the drive, plug it into the xbox, and try my old xbox games. The drive works great!

Exactly what it says it is — a 500GB internal hard drive for the Xbox 360. Install was super simple, no issues at all. Plugged it in, booted up, ready to go. If you’re like me and still have a soft spot for the 360 and a growing collection of physical games, this is a great way to give your system some new life and storage space. The 360 is still one of my favorite consoles — and it’s great having room to install games without worrying about space. Highly recommend for any fellow 360 fans keeping the system alive.
