This is the worst phone I've ever owned. I originally got it as a replacement for my current phone which is quite laggy. Little did I know that this phone has all of those issues and more. Battery life is terrible. My phone was fully charged at 100% this morning when I left for work. My phone has been in my pocket, not being used at all, for 10 hours. When I got home from work, my phone is now at 26%. I would hate to see what the battery looked like if I actually used my phone for the whole day. The speaker is horrendous. It's very quiet and muffled, and has no way to adjust it's settings. One of my biggest issues is how laggy the screen is. I have tried numerous keyboards, including the one the phone came with. Also with and without a screen protector. I basically have to mash on the phone to make it type. It is very frustrating. In fact, the only way that I am able to "type" this review, is because i'm using talk-to-text. While you're typing, the keyboard will decide to randomly start swiping and making nonsense up that you're not actually saying. There are no modes. I personally use work mode on my old phone a lot, I love all the settings that it comes with. But this phone only has Do Not Disturb mode, which you cannot personalize at all. And its features are subpar at best. I barely have anything installed on it and it's acting like it's out of memory and a decade old instead of a brand new phone. As I have been attempting to write this review, the phone has decided to delete the entire thing, input a bunch of random words, numbers, and letters, delete entire paragraphs, etc. It's a darn good thing I copied my review as I spoke it. I do not even have one good thing to say about this phone, it is a huge waste of money and do not purchase.

It's a decent phone, nothing special, pretty standard. I'd recommend it if all you need to do is send texts or make calls. Otherwise, I'd suggest going for something a bit higher-end.

My screen went black just four days before the 90 Amazon renewed warranty ran out and they easily replaced it immediately with exact same model.very impressed.i think I will only shop Amazon renewed from now on

The issue with the device was not that it arrived damaged or wouldn't turn on. Apparently, the phone I bought had been recycled from being in use by a company, so there was a prompt asking me to set up through a company IT administrator. This prompt was unskippable and a required step in being able to use the device. When I went and called Samsung support and pitched my problem to them, I was told that there was nothing they could do and that the only option for me was to immediately return it. To anyone reading this review, I find it unlikely to be the unfortunate recipient of a corporate-use device being marked for consumer sale when it shouldn't be like I was. I just figured I might as well share one of the many risks you run from buying used or renewed products.
