The glowing galaxy moon lamp was really cool and not quite what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter asked for this for Christmas, and at first I was hesitant to get it because she already has lots of things that light up and collect dust on the shelf. But this light is pretty cool and I’m happy that we got it. The moon ball itself has a glittery texture to it, so when it’s not lit up, it is actually a pretty cool eye-catching decor. It’s pretty mesmerizing when it is lit up and the remote control is a nice touch. It has quite a few different light colors and patterns so it keeps entertaining as time goes on. The design is good, charges via a C-style cord (included) and has a nice stand. I felt the quality is good and I think it was a good value for the money and very gift-able. It’s on the smaller size, so it can fit in tiny spaces and small shelves without being overwhelming. It lasted about 10 hours before needing to be recharged, I felt this was pretty good. I would recommend this moon lamp based on it being a cool and unique item, quality, functionality, and that it makes a really cool atmosphere to relax!

This light is awesome. Love the effects it has and it's bright enough to see. Would not recommend as a night light as it's too bright but to see where I'm going at night without turning on the room light is perfect

I received the lamp quickly. It was easy to open and put together the stand. The magnetic stand is a little bothersome since it comes apart easily if too much pressure is put on it. But that’s not a big deal. My son says that he would prefer that the stand was black. I supposed you could just paint it since it’s unfinished wood. The directions were clear and simple and the lamp has a lot of different color settings and glow settings which my kids enjoy changing. The directions state that there is a blue light at the bottom when you charge it the first time, which should turn off when it is finished. This only happened when I first took it out of the package, which in fact there was a blue light and it did turn off when it was fully charged. But I haven’t seen it light up at just the bottom since then. The initial charge didn’t seem to take too long but I wasn’t anxiously waiting either. The charge does truly last all night so it’s great as a night light. The moon design is really beautiful and the colors are rich. It does have a dim option but I wish that it could dim more. I really like that it is made out of strong PVC material. It’s so tempting for the little ones to just bounce it but it is definitely not for bouncing. I had to remind my kids that it’s not a bouncy ball! They did drop it a few times on accident and it held up quite well. However, I mistakenly left the lamp on the ledge that shares our stairwell and my daughter knocked it over and it fell at least 15 feet. To my pleasant surprise the lamp still works! But the components inside became loose. I’m so glad it still works as it’s supposed to. It would be great if it came in a bigger size!

If you're looking for a bedroom lamp to moderately light up a bedroom in a comfy way, you should know that the brightest light setting isn't very bright. Even having bought the biggest size, it wasn't what I was looking for as a light source. It's really more of a night light than a lamp. It provides SOME light of course, but not enough for you to read a book, for example. Otherwise, everything else is good. It's light weight, you can change it to several different colors, there are different brightness settings (even though the brightest isn't enough for me), different timers, different settings for making it cycle through the different colors (strobe, fade, etc.), and it has accurate topography for the moon. It's very pretty.

I have bought two of these. My grandkids love them. They are not real bright. It makes a great night light.

Space-fans, rejoice! We live in the era of using cool, glowy LED things as decorations, and I am no different -- hence my purchase of this; I wanted something I could put on the shelf behind me at my desk that could add a little ambiance to the room and be neat to look at -- as a space nut, this little replica of the moon seemed like a cool thing that could do just that. I like its size and function -- the remote works well, although I just many keep it on one setting. It looks neat and interesting, and doesn't take too much space while bringing a neat glow to the dark room. I could see getting a larger size for display purposes, but this works decent for a shelf or corner of a desk. Light output is nice. One thing I wasn't really thinking of when I bought it for my use, but could really see working for it, is if you needed a night-light type thing for yourself or a child. I think it would do well for that, as I have found I like to leave it on when I doze. Not sure the wattage for something like this -- since I like to keep it on, I hope I'm not using too much energy, but it does seem to be an LED (which are fairly energy efficient) so I wouldn't worry about it. All-in-all I'm pretty happy with this purchase -- it's a very "me" LED display. I suppose if I had one complaint it would be that the little wooden stand it comes with is a bit flimsy -- not really a problem, as one you get it on there and tucked away it should be fine, but I wish maybe it were a bit more sturdy. That said, I'm glad I got this Moon light!

We bought this to have in our bedroom so we can see our sick little dog at night. It works perfectly and I love how you can make so many changes in color and brightness. Nice little lamp.

It's...ok. It came with a dent on one side, doesn't effect operation, but it is definitely noticeable. The pictures of on the page show it illuminating a room, it does not, it has more of a soft glow than luminescence for a whole room, which is what I was looking for in this product. The stickers are pretty cool. The remote functions work as expected. Overall, it's just ok.

We love this thing at night when we're nursing our baby. It's nice to be able to adjust/dim the brightness so it's not too bright when the baby wakes us up crying in the middle of the night. Would definitely buy again.

Works good. Nice to look at. Over time the battery doesnt hold a charge and you have to keep it plugged in to work.
