A decent tool for basic use.
I already have 2 metal squares, one adustable and one fixed. I use them all the time in my woodworking and they are some of the most useful things I own. Reason I bought this one was mostley for the protractor and centre finder functions as many of the projects I'm venturing into need more adaptability.Personally I find this very good for my uses. I'm not on building sites or running a full workshop, I imagine you'd need something a bit more robust for that. I'm just a guy at home who took up woodworking as a hobby. The structure is the same as the standard adjustable metal squares you'd buy from B&Q, and the centre finder is of the same construction. The protractor however is a little more plastic by comparrison. Largely because it being a moveable part, allowing the rule to turn to various angles, so any heavy impacts or if you drop it could break it. I've seen complaints about accuracy, but I've not encountered anything which made a significant enough problem to mention. All in all it does the job I need and so I consider it a decent buy overall.

Quality and configuration not good
Quality of the finish and fit is not as good as it could be and the ruler has both edges number in same direction which makes it more difficult to set and measure quickly

Saved me a lot of work and guessing
Have been building various home made gym equipment and whilst much has been simle enough angled cuts have been the bane of my life. Not anymore! The combination square has survived many jobs now and clearly well made as it has been man handled by assistants who have no clue about tool care. The engraved numbers and markings are well laid out and clearly visible. Each fo the attachments can be removed easily and replaced with same level of ease.Wish I hadn't been so frugle in the past and bought one sooner as my woodworking has not been simpler.

You pay for what you get.
Not the best in the world but for amateur wood and metal work they are OK. They do feel cheap and I am not sure of how accurate they are. I would probably research a bit better next time I am looking for this kind of thing.

Amazon, do you know what 12" is?
I am 100 % satisfied with the purchase, the speed of delivery, and the price, but why oh why does Amazon send me rather small products in a box with tons of packing, big enough for a small refrigerator? Whilst the order of the day is to encourage recycling, which we do, Amazon could make a start by sending out a 12" flat item in a 14" packet. The trouble is, my concerns will fall on deaf ears, and nothing will be done to save on waste

A good buy
For one who does not do too much DIY is is a good handy tool. My main gripe is that one could cut ones self on all the edges of the tool. Each edge requires a light "de-burring" to remove all the sharp edges.

Accurate measurements for your diy
I’ve bought this for the protractor as I was building my own triple bin storage and needed to work out angles for the mitre saw. I found it easy to use and measure angles to set on the saw. As I was building this to my own design and using leftover wood I had from my fencing project and deck build. The bin storage works well and looks great. I would recommend this to anyone who does diy.
