I tested and TRIED THIS ROLL OF CHAIN, I MADE A NECKLACE WITH JUMP RINGS AND CHAIN, IT TURNED BLACK WITHIN 3 DAYS, ITS NOT STAINLESS STEEL, FAKE.

The chain itself is fine, but there should be twice as many rings as clasps since you cannot attach a clasp without a ring and you want another ring to clip the clasp onto. I was unable to get the rings to accept solder (if that matters to you). The best I could do was to almost fill a ring with solder to semi-attach it to the stained glass piece I was hanging. The solder never actually merged with the rings. I will have to use tinned wire and make my own rings in the future. The chain, rings, and clasps are decent quality and the black coating is very nice.

It's beautiful chain but not very strong like the reviews I read on this said. I got the black chain this time. It breaks very easy so it is not stainless like it claims.
