FolkArt FA2725 Multi-Surface Chalkboard Paint (16 Ounce), 2725 Black

I have an old hanging chalkboard that was my mother’s. I had re-painted it with blackboard paint about 20 years ago. It needed painting again and I used this paint. It looks beautiful and chalk goes on smoothly.

Prior to this purchase I had bought chalk spray paint and used it on the two small tables. I painted over the chalk spray with the chalkboard paint and it adhered perfectly. 3 days later we used the tables for chalk art and snack. They’re perfect! The big table I painted 2 coats and then after the paint started to chip off (even after 48hrs of drying) I primed and did 3 coats. It looks amazing! In 2 days I will cover the tables with chalk and wipe clean so we can start using it. Super excited!

Overall a good product. There is a generous amount of paint. It has a good consistency and goes on smooth. I do wish there were some instructions on the bottle. Probably need more than one coat. Chaulk comes off okay without water I have not tried it with water. The chalk is bright and bold in the finished product.

Es de súper buena cobertura pero se despega fácil de la superficie donde la puse, no se si es la pintura o el mueble que pinte pero cumple su funcion solo hay que retocarlo cada vez que uso las tizas.

Thick and easy to use. One or two swipes will cover surface.

I’ve been using these to paint glass bottles for Halloween apothecary set. Works perfectly. A nice flat finish but very smooth, no streak marks at all.. highly recommend it. I was using chalk spray paint, which works well, but as much more expensive than doing it this way. I also like that it cleans up with water.

This allowed the chalk to grab onto the surface as it should, unlike the paint we tried earlier. This is a perfect background for using chalk.

Goes on smooth but when you try and clean the board after use the black paint smears a little. Wouldn’t buy again.
