Could use some work
It is fairly easy to use; however, it bends out of shape. I tossed it. Will spend a little more on a better product.Update: I received an email from the customer service team after I left my review a day earlier. No questions asked, they fully refunded my payment. They did not have to do this considering the return window had closed a few months ago. I can appreciate a company that will go above and beyond for customer satisfaction.

This thing is great
Nothing bad at all about this simple little tool! The first time I tried it, it went through with about a half turn but I'm not sure I needed even that. When I opened the package and pulled out the nicely-designed box that was easy to open on its own, the first thing that hit me was how solid it felt. Despite its simplicity, this thing is made of good material. The easy to use piece that opens it works great and has some resistance to it, so I know the spring is good for a long haul.So far, I've used it only a couple times, but it works perfectly. Core an apple and run it through a mandolin slicer. Incredible treats out of that simple combo.Edit: can I get an extra star to put on here please? Five isn't enough for this company. Not gonna go into specifics but they went well beyond the usual and communicate extremely well. I have no doubt that this thing will last longer than ever needed and would buy from the company again and again.Stop reading and just get it!

Glides through apple like it’s butter!
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this little tool.I have weak hands and thought I will have to push/turn really hard, though I’ll hurt myself with the serrated edge.I didn’t expect much for the low price, but gave it a try.I was wrong! This gadget is so easy to use and feels very sturdy in your hands. The serrated edge glides through the apple like it’s butter. You don’t even need to push hard-just twists and it does what it’s supposed to almost on its own.Super easy to clean after use.Such a time saver especially when you have lots of apples to process.Cleaning large amounts of apples for dehydration and canning used to be such a pain. Not anymore!I’m thankful I discovered this tool.

I'm in love!
I have a apple corer slicer. It makes apple wedges. But, I didn't want to have apple wedges for my food/fruit dehydrator. I bought this to make circular apple rings. I was surprised how easy this is use to cored my apples. It doesn't take much pressure to push the corer through the apples. It is easy to remove the cores and seeds from the corer and super easy to clean it too!I ended up coring a bunch of my home grown apples and dehydrating them. Now I have a bag full of homemade dehydrated apples. I'm enjoying snacking of them during the day, and adding them to my oatmeal at breakfast! (after coring the apples and slicing them, I soaked the apple rings in lemon juice and cinnamon. The lemon juice keeps the apples from browning. And the cinnamon adds a little extra kick to the apples. There delicious!)

Apple Corer that Does the Job Perfectly.
This Apple Corer is amazing. It does the job perfectly on my apple. It is very easy to use and clean. The middle part where the core of my apple lays (once removed from my apple) is not sharp, so it makes the cleaning part even easier, not dangerous for my hands. The price is very affordable too. I will use it to do the same thing on my other fruits as well. I have no regrets buying this so far and as an additional “piece of mind” it is covered by the manufacturer’s lifetime Money Back guarantee once I register it soon on their website :)

Perfect apple corer
I love this apple corer. It works great. Besides the handle on it, the feature I absolutely love is the hinged part that allows you to remove the core from the corer easily. Best feature ever. Would definitely buy again. Would make a great gift too.You can't go wrong with this item.

Much better design in theory than in practice
I am constantly making applesauce for my kids. I make a batch about every couple of weeks, so that means coring about a dozen apples every time. I was really looking forward to replacing my standard corer (a simple one piece one from OXO or some similar brand). This design looked great, addressing the problems with the simple one: bigger handle that's designed for pressing down (helpful for my trick finger joint) and jaws that open to dump the core out easier (hate having to pry it out). But the reality was that only the bigger handle was a success. The jaws just do not work well in reality, especially when you're coring a bunch of apples. They get misaligned, for one thing, which is not a great shape for removing a core. Since they are two pieces, they also tend to walk their way open as I push through the apple. This not only makes the core pulled out larger, it makes it harder to get out of the apple as well because parts of it haven't actually been sliced. It often just winds up splitting the apple. And then actually emptying the core out is a pain. It sticks in there even worse than in my other corer.Back to my old corer I go. Would love to see this handle design added to the simple corer.

Great tool for the Kitchen. Sturdy and Easy to use!
I purchased this because I wanted to make Baked Apples and the recipe called for "cored apples".I was worried at first because it seemed inexpensive, that it would be bent and unusable after a few times used.To my surprise it was very sturdy and the handle fit my big hands no problem! It has a little lever to release the core after and cleanup was as easy as could be!I would highly recommend keeping one of these in your kitchen drawer!

One kitchen gadget which will not gather dust
I got bored of slicing around every apple core with a knife, and this tool looked like it could do the job far better. Turned out to be a fiver well spent.Simple to use, sharp enough to need almost no force, it punches a neat hole in the centre of an apple, and the core drops out of the jaws. Quick rinse under the tap (does fine in a dishwasher too) and ready to go again.Won't bend like cheaper corers, as the metal is thick and the teeth up to the job of boring through.Would say to keep it out of the reach of children as it is so sharp, but otherwise this is an excellent buy.

Core Blimey!
OK - I didn’t purchase this item to core apples! I purchased it to see if it would be any good for making holes in a lawn to improve drainage. You can get purpose made hollow tine lawn air aerators but the suffer from clogging up. To cut a long story short I took over 3200 cores from my lawn which contained many stones, this took its toll on the tool but it kept on working! I’m sure it would last many years just doing apples 🍎
