This is by far the best HDMI adapter you can get without fully modding the system to natively support it. It looks great and for my system doesn't have any issues whatsoever. I had a hyperkin HDMI adapter and that one would keep going black at random occasions however this one does not whatsoever for my system.

Works perfectly. Finally I can enjoy my original Xbox games in full, sharp HD. I tried several other units that needed a power supply to work and the resolution was not great. Easy setup, plug and play.

Definitely one of the better HDMI adapters available for the OG Xbox. The signal quality is solid, the connection feels reliable, and it does a great job modernizing the console without any hassle. If you’re looking to get the most out of your original hardware, this one stands out.

Works great, plug and play right away. no menus or set up. looks so much better but dont expect 4k quality. for its intended purpose this works awesome

Spent hours trying to output 5.1 surround sound to my receiver, which is advertised by this adapter. I checked cables, receiver settings, Xbox settings, XBMC, etc., turns out that feature was a lie and it won't actually output AC3 passthrough, so no surround sound is possible. Besides that, yes this will output to HDMI fine with stereo audio, if that's all you care about. However, you will get several frames of lag and an occasional black screen. It's not a great experience, when games get demanding. After doing some research, aside from the expensive Stellar mod upgrade, I would highly recommend the Electron Shepherd ElectronXout. It solves all of these issues and is around the same cost

This is the third one of this type adapter I ordered and tried on my original Xbox which is connected to my Samsung 42" 2k TV. The first one I bought was made by Pound, the second one made by Laboen. The Pound had a decent picture but some type of strange interference on the screen which was NOT due to the cable. The Pound when connected to my Sony 4k TV resulted in no picture. The second one by Laboen had a decent picture with no interference but required the supplied power adapter to operate. When plugged into my Sony 4k TV, I got a picture blinking in and out. When I loaded a game that changed the output to 720p, the picture stayed and looked good. This one I have now made by Kaico does not require a power adapter and had an excellent picture on my Samsung 2k but the same issue, I plugged it into my Sony 4k and got the same blinking in and out picture until I loaded a game that changed the resolution to 720p, then the picture stayed and looked great. The company says it works with all TV's which is not true. My Sony Bravia 4k (XBR-65Z9D) proves that point. However displayed on my Samsung 42" 2kTV, this product gave a picture more detailed and sharp then the rest of them without having to have a separate power supply. I highly recommend this product if using it on a 2k TV but a 4k TV, that may be hit and miss.

The difference between this and the av cables that came with the system cables is staggering! There’s still obviously a lot of aliasing and some noise, but such was console gaming 20 years ago. This is just what I wanted, an adapter that displays exactly what the Xbox outputs without messing with the image. This pic is of chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay. The game does 480p max, so I have the display type setting in the console dashboard set to normal and the tv display (zoom in my tv menu, it’s an older element 50” 1080p led tv) to normal. And it does 4:3! I was stoked about this! I was worried that it would force it to stretch the image, and it thankfully doesn’t. If I change the console display type setting to widescreen, then it will display hd 480p in 16:9. That looks good too, but I prefer 4:3 for old games like this personally. Overall this exceeded my expectations and makes my games look and sound amazing! Good colors, no lag, and worked perfectly right out of the box. Well worth the money, especially given that you can buy 2 or 3 of these for the price of a used monster comp cable. But it, you won’t regret it!

this works for all tvs but will not work with any monitors. you will get a purple tint for using a monitor with hdmi. wish they would make a hdmi that works with monitors & had audio out port for headsets / speakers. but it works and will buy a back up cable cause i did hear these guys go in a year or sooner! it also comes with a long hdmi cable which was nice!

Habe zuvor andere Varianten für die Xbox Classic probiert und endlich ein Gerät gefunden was wirklich sehr gute Bild Qualität bietet. Hier hat man (in meinen Fall auf 55 Zoll tv) ein sehr gutes Bild ohne Kontrast reiche Störungen , oder das es zu dunkel ist oder das Bild regelrecht hinter hängt .. mit den kaico Konverter ist schlicht und einfach perfekt

今まで初代XBOXで遊ぶときはUSBminiB端子で給電しながら使う安い変換器を使用していましたが、こちらの変換器に交換したら驚くほど画質が良くなりました。 私は鉄騎(最高画質480p)と鉄騎対戦(最高画質720p)しかプレイしておりませんが、どちらとも今まで滲んで見えなかった部分が見えるようになったり照準が鮮明に見えるようになりました。(写真違う画面で申し訳ない) もし私のように安い変換器を使っているのであれば強くオススメしたいです! 少々お高いですが...払う価値があります!! 光デジタルは使っていないので分かりません...
