I received my order pretty quickly and I've made some loaves with it already. I'm very happy with how sturdy each piece that come in this kit. I'm fairly new to baking good bread and I'm constantly developing new skills. I wanted a knife to make backing cuts in my bread, using a double edge safety razor along was kind of difficult to manipulate. I also wanted proofing baskets and a scraper for my dough. When I went to find proofing baskets this kit came up with all the individual items I wanted! I wasn't let down by the sturdiness of the items. I would say high quality but as new as I am to baking I don't have great comparisons. The items I received don't feel like they're going to give out on me any time soon. I've baked 6 loaves, 2 actual loaves and 4 baguettes, so far with these tools. I'm new at this so I haven't yet mastered getting those amazing spirals out of the loaves out of the banneton baskets. I think I need to try their recipes they provide instead of using the one I've most familiar with. I can say that the scoring knife that comes with it has absolutely elevated my cuts. I think the handle does wonders for leverage when guiding the score. Another thing I like about this kit is that it comes with a blade protector so I don't have to worry about my razor's edge when I'm not using it. I'm very excited for continued learning using these new tools to up my bread making game. I'm quite happy with the quality of the products in the kit.

This is the first time I have ever used proofing baskets (I am new to bread making) and I must say, they have made a huge difference. If you often find that your bread dough fails to hold the shape you want it to prior to baking, one of the ways to encourage that is to use proofing baskets like these. The quality of these baskets, in particular, is simply wonderful. The caning is tight, uniform and meticulously finished. With proper care, I'm confident these baskets will last a very long time indeed. I will certainly be buying more of them from this vendor in the future. Wonderful purchase. I couldn’t be happier. The baskets are sturdy and well made. I’ve used the baskets with a light dusting of rice flour and the liners without flour - no issues with dough sticking. Baskets are large enough for a 500-600 gram round. To “season” the baskets I tap the excess flour off and they’re ready for the next batch of bread. The accessories are also quality products. The lame is well constructed and the bench scraper isn’t flimsy- works great. The extra blades are nice too. The purchase came with a small recipe card. Seller sent a thank you follow up email which included tips on using the products. I found this to be an exceptional value and would recommend.

The product arrived very fast and was nicely packaged. 2 Bannetons with linens, Scoring tool and lame set and bench scraper. The scraper is pretty stiff which is good. When I considering buying this product I was worried about the size as you never know from the picture but it turned out just perfect. I usually bake 500-600 g flour loaves which is just the right size for a family of 5 and you can see from the pictures the loaves after final proofing that the size is perfect. My old round banneton is bigger so it takes more valuable fridge space for overnight proofing - thus I will be using these ones from now on. It's a good set for a home baker, I recommend.

Decided to start making my own sourdough bread and needed supplies. This kit has pretty much everything you need to get started. The baskets are great and the cloth inserts work great and are easy to clean. Recommend.

I am a beginner at sourdough bread making. This set was recommended to me by my niece and I love it! My first attempt with the baskets was good. The second time the pattern was even better, sadly no photo. It takes some practice to use the lame properly. Follow directions on the box. I will soon be ordering the oval basket. Thank you for helping to make my sourdough bread making so much fun!

I was having a lot of issues with my sourdough baking, specifically when it was in the 'proof' stage. I often found whatever I used would aggressively stick to the kitchen towel I used in a bowl. I admit that my technique has improved at the same time, but I found this to be immediately much easier to work with. I use the banneton with the included liner, and I found that as long as it's all well floured, the liner peels right off the dough. Using one of these helps in a couple ways, for one, it helps promote a bit of airflow to help develop the outside of the dough (the 'skin' as I tend to call it), it also helps to wick moisture away from dough which also helps to develop the skin. Plus getting the bread lame for scoring the dough, it's really quite a good package.
