Perfect fit and high quality replacement for our 2013 Volvo XC-90
My wife's 2013 Volvo XC-90 Hood has begun to refuse to stay raised during winter and I knew it was time to replace the pressurized struts. These are an exact duplicate of the Volvo originals. The quality and materials are every bit as robust as the original struts. Very satisfied with the purchase of these and I do think others ordering correctly for their vehicle will not be returning theirs! 5 Stars all around.

Perfect on my 2003 XC90
So inexpensive! Great quality. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pull on the metal clips WITHOUT removing them and just pop them on. When you pull on the clip ever so slightly you'll notice that they open up on the side that slides onto the little metal knobs that project from your car. You just pull on them ever so slightly and slip them on. One on each end of the strut. Super easy. Takes literally a minute to replace each one. There's a metal clip on BOTH ends of the strut for two points of attachment. Same with removing the old ones. Just make sure you have someone or something holding up the door when you do this. Your helper should be on a ladder to avoid arm strain. Those doors are heavy. Remember to also clean the metal knobs on your car with a paper towel. I lubricated mine with some WD40 for good measure but you probably don't need to as these struts or liftgates come pre-lubed. My dealership asked $300 in labor alone to do this....go figure.
