Great addition to my portable Icom radio
Installed easily and works well. Transmissions are clear and I can hear received calls very well. Been through two thunderstorm with heavy exposure to rain with no issues.

Handy piece of equipment
Makes using the marine radio easier. Leave the radio clipped to your belt, and clip the mike to your collar. You can hear the calls perfectly and press the button to talk without disturbing others. Much more convenient than holding the radio itself.

ICOM radio's are very good units.
The add on speaker works well with the ICOM IC M25 handheld VHF Radio Which I bought at the same time. ICOM radio's are very good units.. tjis one is no exception.. Remember to screw the unit into radio. I did not due this at first and it stayed live or went in and out
