These are brilliant
These are great USB memory sticks. 350mb/s read maintained regardless of amount of data stored on the stick. 110mb/s write speed also maintained regardless of data written to the stick. They are even fast enough for tasks that require average 2.5" hard drive r/w performance or above. The price is not bad either for the quality, capacity and performance. Compact enough to leave in wihout knocking and damaging either the stick or the laptop. Not so small that you wonder how reliable it is going to be given the storage capicity. Smart looking, strong plastics, well made. I've had many Memory sticks of many capacities including others of 128GB/256GB and even 512GB. This is up there amongst the best. Not supposed to be an ultra fast drive, but still significantly and usefully fast for a lot of things. I've had some sticks slow down with certain amount of data written, have erratic write speeds, even read speeds. Also, I've had not much cheaper sticks with fluctuating 15mb/s to 60mb/s write speeds out of the box and these were top brands. I won't mention them. Like they make the best SSD's, Samsung appear to make some of the best memory sticks too. I thoroughly recommend.

Fast Read and Write
I bought this stick for my Blink Sync Module 2 and it have proven to be a great choice. It reads and writes quickly and allows immediate viewing of saved clips. The small size prevents it getting knocked out of place.

Quality device
I remember receiving a flash drive as a birthday present back in the day. It was 16mb and could hold a few photos. Not really worth the bother but I did feel like a spy for a while. How times change. Purchased this to plug into the back of the TV for purposes of a slideshow as screensaver. Nice metal case, small and unobtrusive, ample storage, and has worked like a charm since installed. A lot of utility for not a lot of money.

A fast and extremely compact USB drive - and how to check it is authentic (mine is)
I purchased my 256GB Samsung Fit Plus USB 3.1 flash drive (model MUF-256AB/APC) from Amazon itself (not a third-party seller), alongside the equivalent Sandisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 flash drive of the same capacity (also sold by and dispatched from Amazon.co.uk). These very compact drives are excellent for plugging into a spare USB socket on my laptop and leaving in place as an extra level of storage and backup capacity. Separately making the same identical, large multiple-folder copy to each USB drive in identical conditions, mounted in the USB 3.1 sockets of my Windows 10 laptop from its internal SSD (which is only the 550 MB/sec older type, so not the fastest source available, but still quite nippy), I noticed that the Samsung was the faster of the two USB flash drives - not surprising as its maximum write speed is rated at 400 MB/s versus 130 MB/s for the Sandisk. The expected difference in speed was noted in a benchmark program test of each (the first screenshot shows the Samsung Fit Plus results as drive E and the second is the Sandisk Ultra Fit, as drive D), but the real-world copying task showed a much larger difference, as after the initial few minutes the Sandisk Ultra Fit slowed down and stopped for about 5 seconds roughly every 30 seconds (to cool down, I think) whilst the Samsung Fit Plus dipped only very slightly in speed occasionally and never stopped. The Samsung’s metal USB plug versus the plastic one of the Sandisk may be a factor here. The Samsung Fit Plus is very small and neat, and appears well-made. It is very slightly larger than the absolute smallest units of this type, but all are small enough to be very convenient and hardly noticeable when left in place permanently - these “fit drives” are vastly smaller than typical USB flash drives and their visible part when plugged in is smaller than the standard USB 3.1 plug portion. I see that some recent reviewers of this Samsung Fit Plus 256GB drive believe that their units are counterfeit. The packaging and appearance of mine (shown already opened by me) is identical to the photos provided in those reviews, as apparently is the Fit Plus drive itself. One reviewer drew this conclusion after running Samsung's Magician program, which failed to authenticate the Fit Plus drive, and they were also concerned by the absence of a serial number. My Fit Plus also has no serial number, but I believe that this is normal for these. I believe that the Samsung Magician program is intended for use with Samsung's Solid State Drives (SSDs) and so would be appropriate for use with their T5 and T7 external SSDs for example, which do have serial numbers, but it is not intended for use with a USB Flash drive. I downloaded from Samsung a different program, the Samsung Memory Card/UFD Authentication Utility, which is for drives like the Samsung Fit Plus and also Samsung memory cards. When I checked my Fit Plus, it confirmed it is an authentic Samsung product. I am very pleased with my purchase, and happy to have been able to confirm its authenticity, which is exactly what I would hope and expect of an item purchased from Amazon.co.uk. I give the product 4 stars rather than 5 only to reflect that even the fastest USB 3.1 flash drive is going to be slower than an internal SSD or the current high-speed external SSD drives that connect to USB C ports and use them to full advantage - but it is of course also cheaper, very convenient and a lot smaller than those!

Very fast drives
Bought the 64GB to have that "random USB drive for random files" role, it reads around 300MB/s and writes around 36MB/s, way faster than I was expecting.

Tardis storage capabilities
Like a little portable data tardis. Just remember where you put it. Easy to use, reliable thus far, and so easy tp transport.
