Why does the bulb not go off on a pir lamp it just goes a bit dimmer till activated again then brighter could it be the bulb normal bulb works fine..

Seems as though the PIR is not fully switching off, as the PIR is a semiconductor switch it’s possible that there is some leakage.

Anyone have an issue where the bulb remains on (but dimly lit) when the light is turned off? What can be done about it? Using with a timer. Thanks!

Non-dimmable lamps will not work with solid state timers. Is the timer solid state? If so, then it won't work with switching type lamps, LED and some fluorescents that use an electronic starter (long life bulbs). Know "feature" of triac switches. You have to use a timer (or PIR) that uses a relay for switching.
