This is a quality modification to any tele w/"stock wiring" and a great deal $. Tone will be enhanced immediately. Hardware is heavy duty, components are well above average, solder work is nicely done. Wiring is easy for buyers "in the know". Saphue does not provide a wiring diagram, which would be helpful for those who need direction with pickup wires.

this works great. comes with a basic chicklet capacitor for the tone control and not a inferior ceramic capacitor (ceramic capacitors are susceptible to heat and humidity changing it's operating values) and the switch is easy to wire too. it also comes with the output jack installed.

Right part for the right job

I bought 4 of these for my Lyxpro telecasters. The control plate adds a capacitor which brings out the mids in the pickups and lowers the treble on the bridge. It also makes for a smother pickups selection. No printed instructions come with it and the black wire actually can go to a screw in the bridge cavety. To set this up you can hammer a nail about a quarter inch before screwing and tie the wire end in a loop around the screw. There are only 4 solder points & you can always solder 4 wires to them, then shrinkwrap yur pickup wires to the until you get the hang of it. It's worth the trouble-a day and night difference in the sound! . .

After wiring together my project based on the design of the three way switch the leads available are at opposite ends. So I connected them in the logical way and the switch is either installed backwards or my wiring is backwards. This includes the toggle being toward the neck and the knobs being towards the bottom. After switching the switch in its location to operate the correct way the switch has stopped functioning all together. I might have to contact for a replacement. The knobs and pots are all good and functioning the problem is with the 3 way switch.
