Nagai Deluxe Sushi Nori Full Sheet 50 Count + Wel Pac Sushimaki SU BAMBOO MAT 9.5"X9.5"

This worked perfectly for my first time making California rolls! It was easier than I expected, and I was surprised how quick it was to make them. The recipe I used recommended covering the mat with a sheet of plastic wrap to keep it clean, but I also read a tip about placing the mat inside a large gallon size zip bag, and that works GREAT. That makes perfect sense to cover the mat to protect it, and perhaps most recipes also give that advice, but I don't know if it's something I would have thought to do otherwise, so...just passing that along!

No complaints about the seaweed. However the bamboo mat is nearly unusable with the seaweed sheets it comes with. The mat I received is only 8”. It would be better for ½ sheets. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this bundle, but would definitely buy the seaweed sheets separately.

Great texture and good tasting Nori. 50 sheets seems like a little, but it does last you a while if your making sushi every once in awhile. Considering its like 6-7 sushi pieces per sheet. Price range was perfect for the convenience of buying it online.

I was very disappointed in the quality. I have used this brand before, and had great results, but not this time.I had 3 sheets left from my last batch, which worked well.These new ones split and shredded as I rolled them, and the edges were tattered and crumbled as I used them, making it impossible to make good sushi because they wouldn't roll it tightly.They arrived today 2/4/18. I didn't think to check the "best by" date before I opened them, the "best by" date was 1/3/18 a month ago.I have actually used Nori that was OLD, but this was poor quality and stale.

I was worried that this might be something I buy to try once and never use again. But it was SO easy! I really appreciated that the kit came with the nori sheets. The nori sheets are sturdy and flavorful. The bamboo roller is also good quality.

10 sheets of nori is around $5 where I live, so the price is good. A poor product isn't worth anything though. No problem here! The nori is crisp and fragrant, very good by itself, crumbled as a seasoning, or wrapped around a rice ball. The bonus bamboo mat makes rolling maki easier.

2 stars because they gave you a rolling mat I was so disappointing to see the label that THIS can cause cancer. I figured it was some hyper vigilant statement but it turns out that trace amounts of lead are in the nori. :O(

Way overpriced. The mat is okay and nori is fine but it is very expensive and you can get the same product elsewhere for less money.
