Having an open wound on my left inner lower leg, even after protecting it sadly infection set in and the wound would not close. This item not only helped with wound protection, it also aided in the healing process. Kept in plave by gause wrapping, it is comfortable, doesn't slip, and after daily use the wound has closed. I believe the healing was largely due to this wrap.

I have a bit of a different use for these, I am going through radiation treatments and my radiation oncologist suggested getting them to help keep the radiation from burning the skin. In the doctors own words...I was a success story with using them. After 3 weeks (still a few more left) of treatment my skin is still not burned badly like it would have been if I was not using these. They allow the creams to go through them to help with the skin tightening and itchiness, I would highly recommend these!

This is an awesome wound "bandage" for anyone dealing with ultra thin skin that tears easily. Best to learn from a medical person that specializes in wounds. I am able to treat my own wounds almost all the time.

Great for wound care! They can be trimmed to fit the wound and don’t stick to the wound or allow bandages to stick.

Bought for my husband and we loved them, but he is allergic to most anything that adheres to his skin.

Doctor used these & said get them. Very expensive BUT cut large pieces to fit area. Wish it was covered by health insurance but not. Worth it if you want to stay on skin to protect. Breathes, Comfortable and the medicine can easily be put on with same bandage in tact.

I love this material, never heard of it until an urgent care nurse recommended it after I got some bad road rash. I’d been having a pretty rough week with changing the bandages on my shoulder because every time I had to change them I would rip off the new skin growing in even with non-adhesive bandages. That’s where these come in: These bandages act like a base layer and stay on for a about a week. They allow drainage out of the wound and allow ointments and such through. The non-adhesive bandages go on top. This has really helped speed up the healing of my shoulder and my comfort as it heals.

I suffered A Very bad burn that resulted in an opening on the surface of the skin. So big that I was told I should be put in the hospital to have a skin graph surgery to close it. But With this amazing product and patients of time I was given home instruction on how to care for my wound at home that had to be stricked and sanitary. I can't express on how amazing my arm looks with the use of this product. But can say one of its best quality of this product. It could be a knee scrape or elbow a burn, any injury that is open and needs to heal and kept clean without the painfulness of gauze bandages, band aids to cover it . When it's covered it and adheres to the bandage or band aid that pulls the wound back open and now back to square one again. The mepitel is a product that allows a wound that's been cleaned and cared for placing one of the mepitel sheets over it allows it to stay clean , air to heal it. And best of all the product will not adhere to a wound , scab, etc which hurts when it time to clean and rewrap. It's amazing👍
