I just received this tool, is it suppose to have the word VOZDOK carved on the edge of the blade (top of the handle side)?

At a glance, it looks like VOZDOK. However, turn the blade 90 degrees clockwise. The V is a C, Z is an N, and what you thought was a K is actually an R. With the blade pointed at the ceiling, you will see that it reads CONDOR written vertically with the letters stacked.

How much does it weigh?

The knife it self weighs around a pound, perhaps a few oz's. more. Scabbard and box weigh another pound and a half or there about. it is an extremely well balanced blade with heft and weight on the handel end which makes it easy to swing with enough cutting power behind the blade to make short work of most anything you would want to chop up under 4 inches thickness. I have cleanly cut a 1" hard wood branch with a single stroke no problem. Balance is more important than weight in a tool like this for several reasons, one of which is not wearing out your arm after a few strokes. It's no kiddy toy.

Full tang. I can't imagine a Machete style blade that would work otherwise.

What is the warranty on these Condor Machetes?? I purchased one a little while back, and a nice size chunk of the hardwood handle broke off...
