5 Stories & Some Jokes
Jokes and enjoyable stories are included in this lovely Christmas book. It should be suitable to beginning readers. Children's attention spans are maintained throughout the book since the stories are short and entertaining. For the child, the small tasks that were provided were also rather entertaining.

Good stories
This book has five short stories that are exactly the right length for children. I have an 18-month-old who can only get through approximately one of these. At the end of each story, there are several small gags about Christmas, Santa, and the holiday season in general. These would be ideal for older children than my son. They're a nice addition, in my opinion. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't used a couple on my adult buddies. There are no noteworthy animations in the book. Each narrative has an image on the first page, but that's it. This is not the place to seek for colorful pages.

Cute but better suited for the older end of the age range.
I downloaded this book free for my kindle and it was definitely cute. There is a lack of true illustration and I feel the majority of it is not for the younger side of the 4-8 age range specified. There were jokes that I felt were better off in a Halloween book as well as some that I know a child wouldn't understand. But with that said, some of the jokes were actually quite funny and young kids would get a kick out of. Most of the stories were engaging and good for children. What I liked the most is how the stories were followed by an activity as well. It makes the kids think about what they just read and helps to understand when they can do an activity about it right after. It was a short easy read and may be a fun book for children on the older end. I think the other book Uncle Amon wrote about monsters was much better for the younger range.

New collection of stories
Frankly , I havent read many books on Xmas , this one sure had some new ones to my surprise and I enjoyed them more than my kids.It doesnt have illustrations , which in fact should have been there , it being a kids book , kids were expecting pictures. Thats the reason I gave it 3 stars. It has good selection of stories and many feel so realistic and not so traditional ones. Usually I dont allow kids to read books on electronics but this one is an exception. It was easy for my 2nd grader to read by herself and added bonus are the jokes.Overall its a fun book, engaging filled with new stories.I downloaded this for free , I have read few to my kids and rest they read and have liked it. Heres my review in exchange of this free download.

Great way to experience the holiday magic with any little one!
I think this book is adorable! Since my little ones are now teens I don't have many options at home anymore as far as toys and books when I get little visitors. My friends daughter was coming to stay with me for a day or two and I thought this would be a fun thing to read with her at night. There is nothing more precious than hearing a child's excitement over Santa Claus coming. We read this book together on my Kindle and she really enjoyed getting to help turn the pages. The stories are short and sweet and helps to keep the kids from losing their attention span during the book. I also really enjoyed the little activities that were included to help extend the magic of the book. And to hear her giggle over the jokes was a true delight! It really made me wish I could rewind the time to back when my girls were so excited over Santa!!Truly a cute read for any family!*I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review after product testing*Thank you for reading my review. On promo or for free, it is a good grab.
Judging by the lack of an Illustrator Credit it appears that Uncle Amon illustrates his (or her?) own work, or at least employs some almost clever stock photography licensing. The pages are filled with 5 stories ranging from a cute one about Santa's beard to a humorous, kid friendly take on Boxing Day (or what a kid would think Boxing Day is). Uncle Amon has added jokes and even a coloring section to complete his or her book, making this collection of shorts into one a child could readily love. Marketed to children aged 4-8, I found the narrative in the stories to be for the older side of that scale. While the younger audience may enjoy some of it and the jokes, the older kids will get a kick out of the idea of a Canadian Aunt taking a turn in a Boxing Rink.

A great fun book for kids
Uncle Amon's Christmas Stories is another of his books that kids will like. The book contains five stories two of which add Christmas Activities, 47 Christmas jokes, and purchasers can click and get three more free books as well as click for more stories than the five included.

Too Adult for my child
There were parts of this book that I thought were charming, but unfortunately, almost all of the scenarios in the book were adult-themed, so kind of weird to read to a four-year old.As an example, there is a story about santa and his wife discussing whether he should shave off his beard or not. They are in Florida of all places. Then they go to the beach and the end of the story is so subtle.Perhaps this is a book better for an older child.*This product was sold to me at a discounted price or free in exchange for a fair and honest review.*If this review has helped you, please vote 'helpful' using the button below. If you enjoyed this review, please take a look at my other reviews at the the following URL:https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/A19JH3X095UST3?ie=UTF8&ref_=sv_ys_3

This book was lacking in Christmas spirit
It did not foster the Christmas spirit & would not do much for young minds with regards to them forming a true understanding of what Christmas & what the spirit of Christmas should be truly about. The boxing day story was just really sloppy and full of untruth...it was just plain silly. I would not recommend wasting your time on this book for the stories part of this book but the Christmas jokes contained in the latter half of it were okay.

Christmas Stories for kids is a collection of short stories ...
Christmas Stories for kids is a collection of short stories that may not always be set at Christmas but have a Christmas theme to them. At the end of the book is a large selection of Christmas jokes. For me these were in tune with the ones you would find in Christmas crackers as the majority of them were cheesy enough to make you smile. Some however even I didn’t get, but that might be just me.I would suggest that this book is probably aimed at the slightly older child but nonetheless should get them in the mood for Christmas.
