New CPU and GPU Cooling Fan for Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53 (2020) AN515-44 A515-45 AN515-55 AN517-41 AN517-52 AN517-54 AN715-52 Series (Left + Right Side Cooling Fans)

Needed a fix for the GPU fan on the Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52-78VL, with the i7-9750H, GTX 1660 Ti, 2019) that been making odd noises on lower RPMs. Swapping the fans out was straight forward, unplug the original fan connector, remove a couple of screws, take out the original GPU fan and put the replacement fan in its place, screws back in. The replacement fan came with a strip tape (my best guess its electrical tape) already attached just like it shows in the product's images. Just need to get my own electrical tape for the other vent and reattached the Wifi antennas back to its card that pop off when trying to remove the tape off the old fan, but its no big deal. The Acer Predator software detects the RPM from the new fan. Boot up a couple of games, monitoring the GPU temps and so far things seem alright. I don't how these replacement fans compare to Acers official design for there AreoBladeTM, but these seem to work good enough.

Both fans aren't working - the LEDs turns on but the fan's doesn't spin. I've tried every guide online, chatgpt, youtube videos, nothing works. From the reviews I can see that a lot of ppl either say that "one doesn't work" or "both works great" so maybe I was the misfortunate one. Had to put my old ones back in and deal with the scratchy noise.

My partner's Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-710B started to get some serious buzzing from the GPU fan. Bought this as a replacement. Worked just fine. Easy to install and appears to be detected by the laptop and the Acer PredatorSense program appropriately. Still holding up after 5 months of daily use. NOTE: if you have the exact same Acer Predator Helios 300 model (PH315-52-710B), this WILL NOT WORK for the CPU fan out of the box, but will work for the GPU fan. For this exact laptop model, the CPU fan is positioned slightly differently and requires a longer cable. You might be able to find a way to hack, just keep that in mind. Later models of this laptop are different and use the same fan for the CPU and GPU, so theoretically this replacement fan would work for either in those later laptop models.

These were in perfect condition and worked in my daughter's laptop. Solved the noisy fan issue. (Note: taking a laptop apart is not for everyone).

Doesn’t fit like the OEM. Plastic bracket requires you to move some cabling around. Otherwise works great!

Great product. Not a cheap replacement as far as quality is concerned. Fans are metal & not cheap plastic like so many replacements out there. Easy to install & works great! Immediately bought a second one to replace the other original fan, should that one stop working.

Replacement performed on a Predator Helios 300 model number PH315-53-79CQ. Photo descriptions: 1) New fan with sticky pad shown 2) Original fan on left, replacement fan on right 3) Both replacement fans in place Fan replacement was perfect, zero issues with lining up the screws and the sticky pads. Fans run much quieter than they did before so I would say it was a success. An potential issue is - as displayed in photo 2 - the bottom of the fans are different (original fan is more open, new fan is more closed). Heat dissipation seems fine at the moment, but it is something that I’ll have to monitor. In summary: Easy replacement as everything lines up. Bottom of fan is different from original fan (picture 2) so may have issues down the road.

Este producto no es metálico como el original. Pero puedo decirte una cosa. Hace el mismo trabajo pero mucho más silencioso. Sí, sigue siendo ruidoso, pero cuando usas programas pesados. Pero a bajas revoluciones, es muy silencioso y no hace ruidos ni vibraciones como el original. PredtorSense pudo leer su velocidad, tambien el vendedor dijo que si puede alcanzar 3000 a 6000 rpm que es muy genial si usas el modo turbo. Producto 10/10 vendedor 10/10.
