Sturdy, would recommend
Very sturdy and variety of sizes! Super glad I got these. I was considering just using an embroidery needle for sashiko, but I credit these with it looking very uniform and nice on my first try. It went through denim like it was nothing, which I know not to be the case with my regular embroidery needle. For those considering this, I would recommend! These needles have the rigidity, length and thickness you need for sashiko.

Nice needles.
Good needles. The gold accent helps me keep track of the needle and makes it easier to thread.

Good, But Caution When Using on Thick Materials
The needle I used to start work on my project was delightfully sharp! However, I took the comments regarding the durability to heart, and ended up breaking the needle. It was definitely my fault for using the needle on the reinforced section of my canvas bag. Just use caution if you’re working with thicker material.

Decent needles
Good quality sashiko needles. I wish they were a little bit longer, but they get the job done nicely and are a good value.

The James Bond of Sashiko Needles
Smooth, strong and sharp--seems like the James Bond of sashiko needles to me! I use a palm thimble when I can for the ergonomic advantage, so a longer needle is a must. But a bendy needle is just tears waiting to happen! All the needles in this pack were strong and not at all flexible, from the shortest (no surprise there) to the longest (very pleasing). The eyes are generous and well smoothed. Whenever I try out a new needle, I use a bit of silk thread to test the eye to make sure it won't be slowly (or not so slowly) eroding my thread. These needles all passed the silk thread test, no snagging at all. The points are very sharp, a great advantage in regulating stitch length. All in all, very nice needles to work with.

I do a certain style of freehand embroidery that requires slightly thicker yarn and I need a sharp needle a combination I struggle to find the right needles for. These are perfect
