This protector works, my last iPod has a broken screen.

The clear screen protector is just a thin piece of plastic, I wouldn’t say it offers much protection other than debris. The case serves its purpose though and has protected the iPod just fine.

Purchased this to protect my Ipod touch and it fits perfectly and was easy to put on and it also came with two screen protectors which was I feel like a bonus. But I would recommend this casing for anyone looking to protect their devices from Apple.

It’s great bang for the buck, for starters, but when I did my search, I entered “Tempered glass screen cover.” What actually arrived were two of the flimsy little clear plastic screen savers, and BOTH of them were damaged! If you look at the lower right side of my screen, you will see several bubbles. Those are there because the screen savers (BOTH of them, mind you) were creased—in the same place, and once that acetate (or whatever it is) is dented, folded, or creased, the damage is permanent. It is minimal, and doesn’t interfere much with the screen when I use the device for its intended purpose (for me, it’s the remote control to my Abbott Proclaim spinal cord stimulator). I’ll just have to purchase the tempered glass separately—annoying and a bit more costly, but not the end of the world.The case was very easy to assemble onto the iPod—even for these arthritic hands and aging addled brain. I cannot speak to pulling it back apart as I’ve not had to do this yet, but I’m thinking back on the horrors of disassembling the Otterbox and those tiny little tabs.But I digress…The case is quite durable and covers far more than I expected for an inexpensive little thing. The sides around the screen are deeply beveled, keeping the screen away from harm if it ever should fall flat onto a hard surface. Even the home button has a raised, rubberized cover, making it even more convenient to use. All other buttons are also covered and raised for convenience as shown in the photos. Ports are open and uncovered, however, for easy access, and the camera area is in its own deeply beveled protected open section.And, of course, on a purely cosmetic level, I was thrilled that it came in purple, but if memory serves, there are several nice color choices available.All in all, I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who’s got an iPod 7th Gen to protect. Just be prepared to purchase additional screen savers, or go without altogether.
