Good Content & writing style, but some parts of the print too hard to read (see below)
Most of the print was perfectly fine/readable, but in places the print was too pale (critical cmd options were ALL an unreadable, very pale pinkish) or too tiny (screenprints were way too tiny to read, even though there was plenty of room on the pages to make them much larger). These are both fine in the online/kindle version. There appeared to be typos/errors in the printing in a number of places - critical when you are talking about line commands with options & arguments & returns. I managed to get to page 88, with great difficulty & a magnifying glass & an extremely bright light, but it was just too hard/exhausting (& too much eye strain) to try to read the cmd line options and the screenprints). There appeared to be manual, hand drawn corrections on a number of scattered pages further on in the book (of nearly 400 pages) than I had tried to read. It seemed to be a "proof" version that wasn't meant to be printed, but proof-read. What I saw of the online version of the book was much easier to read, with large, readable screenprints & colors that were much more readable. I wasn't able to read far enough in the online version to see if the command-line typos had been fixed.I'm going to email the author to find out what's going on. I really do like his writing style, but the printer/publisher certainly did not do the book justice, if this was supposed to be the final print version.I have to thank Amazon for being so great about returning it for me, even though I read with a highlighter and pen/pencil. I appreciate Amazon making it so easy for me because the print version was over $40 with tax, and I'm a little old lady (who used to program in Unix) living on social security, who can't afford to flush $40+ down the toilet.

Excllent for beginning or intermediate Linux users
The Kindle version is an outstanding value and I can not recommend it highly enough. Well-written and well-organized. Excellent TOC and Index. Teaches concepts like copying and moving files, sudo, root, links, finding files, packages, killing processes, etc. "Knowledge checks" for each section, with answers at the back of the book. Not a textbook or reference manual. This book lets you learn bit-by-bit as questions arise.Excellent for users who have questions about the manuals, help files, or community forums. Teaches concepts that are important for being a happy, productive Linux user, regardless of what distro you are using. Most inexpensive Kindle Linux books are poor values. This one is simply superb.

Easy To Understand Linux Guidebook
To save money I purchased this manual for my Kindle, but it does not work there for me since I have a black and white basic Kindle and this needs color to bring the manual to life. I saw it in book form and it was decidedly better. So that is my only caution, since the book is beginner basic and with the text size changes in the book it definitely better suits the in paper format.
