I order tons of products online, and never write reviews, but I am so pleased with these LED recessed lights I just had to. I did a lot of research on LED's for my sunroom, reviewing specs and customer questions/feedback. These lights stood out. My sunroom gets a flood of natural light during the daytime, but the knotty pine walls and ceilings contribute to a dark room in the evenings/nights. Problem fixed. The lights themselves are simple to wire, with up to four easy punch out blocks (using my fingers), with slip-on wire connections to junction up to three feeds. Everything felt like quality, and the slim design allowed me to keep a consistent layout without any concern that I would in fact straddle the ceiling joists in a few places. The ability to select five color temperatures is awesome, particularly as I had no idea what I wanted. The springs are strong and snap the fixture into place, with the rubber gasket to prevent air leaks. The light has a nice wide beam, all lights have a consistent brightness even after the dimmer was installed and adjusted. Then there is the price - at $10.83 each, who can go wrong. I had ceiling access from above, so running electrical cable was a cinch. Using the 6.25" hole saw, all wiring completed, and eight lights set in place (I bought two sets of six, leaving four for my garage). I completed this job by myself, from start to finish, in just under 4 hours. I am a happy customer and I highly recommend this product.

Good price and very easy to install replacing a light that no longer worked

Like a lot of homes our living room had no overhead lighting and use of floor or table lamps just didn’t cut it. After a fair amount of research decided to purchase these lights. Pros. inexpensive, well made metal body and clips not plastic like some, ability to change color, straight forward install, look nice, low energy consumption, lights themselves are thin, complete unit (no need to buy can,trim and bulb separately), LEDs don’t get hot can contact insulation. Cons. Template provided is worthless, as others mentioned it makes too big a hole. I made a 6” hole which gave me a nice clean fit. If a light goes out you can’t just replace a bulb. Will these last? only time will tell. As for ease of installation, that will depend on your knowledge and expertise. My install involved pulling power from an existing line, dropping a new switch wire and box in the wall for a dimmer and then putting the lights in. Fortunately I had attic access and at 68 can still manage to crawl around up there (just barely). These weren’t any easier or harder to install than other retrofit cans. I did bench test all lights and boxes to make sure each functioned properly, didn’t want to have the hassle of one not working after installation. I also went online and used a spacing calculator for recessed lighting, put in length and width of the room it shows how many lights and were to put them for proper coverage. I’m not an electrician but have done electrical work since my teens. I like these and would probably buy again if needed. Just my thoughts. Best of luck with your install. ALOHA

Lights arrived and functioned as advertised. The five settings are very good for obtaining the desired intensity (color) for different areas and I installed a dimmer which works very well. Do take note of the hole saw size, I found 6 1/8 in. Did the job for me. Overall, great value for recessed lighting.

I have purchased these lights several times and overall the quality is pretty good. The color is selectable with 3 options. The lights are very easy to install and are thin enough that if you accidentally place one on a stud, 5/8” drywall is thick enough to still mount it. The only issue I have had with these is that occasionally they seem to fail earlier than expected, I.e. within a year. I am honestly fine with this based on the price because they are so much cheaper than the big box store offerings that it’s actually still cheaper for me to replace the occasional failure.
