Microsoft RJN-00014 Bluetooth Mouse - Blue Star

Okay, in some ways I'm a bit of a luddite because I find that using a laptop trackpad can be awkward and so I prefer using a mouse. I just find that a mouse suits my needs better. I was a bit aprehensive about this Microsoft mouse at first, having tried cordless mice ( or maybe it should be mouses? ) in the past which always seemed to have some problem or another which in turn made using them a bit of a pain. Not so with this one. As soon as I removed the strip which lets the battery power up the mouse, a message popped up on my laptop which connected the mouse straight away - and ever since then I've not needed to do a single thing with the mouse other than use it. It reconnects when I start my lappy so that it's ready to use straight away, and if the batteries last anything like as long as I'm led to believe I shall be a happy convert to using this Microsoft bluetooth mouse. Update January 2024: It looks like I'm not the only one that likes these mice, because I've had to buy two more for other family members that like them so much they wanted one too. And I've not had to change the batteries in mine yet 7 months in; impressive.

Daughter loves this mouse as its bluetooth and hence can be used with either a tablet or a laptop / desktop. Size is perfect for slightly smaller hands and it tracks well and works fine. Not having a million buttons and having a great wheel action really made it first choice for me. Fantastic value for the £13 we paid for it. Would get more if I ever need another mouse for the family. I have slightly large hands and this is comfortable for a few hours but I prefer a larger mouse day to day (I occasionally borrow this for my laptop as required and its perfect for on the go use)

I was concerned that the glossy top surface would not grip well, however this proved not to be the case. Smaller than what I am used to but much easier to carry around with a laptop. Does not contain any type of USB adapter if your laptop does not have Bluetooth - watch out. It is responsive and a worthy replacement to my 20 year old USB Microsoft Optical mouse that finally gave up. The old one was better than most modern cheap USB mice on market still, so had to go for a Microsoft one to try and replace like for like. Worked perfectly on my Mac Book and Windows Laptops and it is nice to finally be USB cable free. I will now commit the old mouse to the drawer of broken tech in a modest ceremony. No flowers.

Great mouse, connects via Bluetooth so doesn’t need its own dongle and battery life is great. Used every day for months without needing to change the battery. Works really well on all sorts of surfaces, and comfy to hold.

Ratón Bluetooth de tamaño compacto. Lo mejor: - Tamaño compacto ideal para llevarlo de un lado a otro, o transportarlo junto con el portátil. -Fácil de usar, únicamente tiene un botón para encender y apagar. Para emparejarlo con un nuevo dispositivo lo aprietas durante 5 segundos. - No necesita receptor Bluetooth para funcionar, emite la señal el propio ratón. Lo peor: - Tamaño pequeño, si lo queréis para trabajar durante todo el día os recomiendo uno de tamaño normal (en la foto podéis ver su tamaño respecto a un ratón de tamaño normal). - Si vuestro dispositivo no tiene Bluetooth no podéis usarlo, ya no lleva un USB con receptor. -El click hace bastante ruido, a mi personalmente no me molesta este factor. Yo personalmente lo utilizo para el IPad Pro, y funciona muy bien, sobretodo en tareas de ofimática, veréis que es mucho más cómodo que usar la pantalla táctil para seleccionar por ejemplo texto. Lo recomiendo, ya que para ser de una marca reconocida y de calidad como Microsoft tiene un buen precio, sobretodo si lo encontráis de oferta.
