This is a great book! It teaches a nice lesson about how people can think and learn differently and that’s ok. The information is very palatable for young readers

Great gift idea!
I bought a copy of this book for each of my children. I have discreetly given it to their teacher(s) at the end of the school year so that when they graduate, they will have the surprise gift of messages from all of their teachers in a keepsake book. I saw this idea with Oh, the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss, but this book is so much more unique and inclusive. It's beautifully illustrated, and encourages self-love and acceptance.

Beautiful book, message, and gift!
Highly recommend gifting this book at a baby shower, first birthday, to a teacher, or truly for any occasion. I love reading this book to my Kindergarten students and my toddler, all ages will enjoy it! It would be great for a full lesson or unit on acceptance with students designing their own hot air balloons and explaining what they bring to the table for others, so many possibilities! The offset letters are texturally pleasing. The colors are calming and aesthetically eye catching. However, most of all, it’s the message that is my favorite, YOU are needed! Write a note on the inside front cover and it’ll become a cherished lifetime keep sake.
