This bandage has a pad that swells upon contact with blood or moisture and the plastic completely surrounds the pad sealing the site. Which makes a mini pressure bandage. I have been using these for over 20 years. I trust them to keep me from bleeding out. I use them for hemodialysis. After treatment I pull the needles out and then hold the sites for about 10min to be sure I quite bleeding. then I use SureSeals to cover the sites in case they would start bleeding again. Usually the site can start to ooze and once it touches the pad it swells up and stops it from starting to bleed full on. Ive taken them off before and they were full but didn't break the seal. These are the best. Ive been buying my own for a very long time.

Four Stars
As a dialysis patient, bandages are very important to me. SureSeals give me a bit more confidence that my sites aren't going to break open and bleed all over my car on the drive home. Also, since they are waterproof, I can leave them on when I shower later. I chose the L size over the XL size because the larger ones seemed to cause issues on needle removal, hanging up more on the wings on the needles.

Dialysis Sureseal Bandaids Really Work..
I am on Dialysis & have been for 1 1/2 years. These Sureseal Pressure Bandaids work Great for stopping Your bleeding pretty quickly once its time to take out the Needles used for Dialysis. I have been so pleased since I was told about the SureSeal Pressure Bandages by Our R.N. Manager @ the Dialysis center I go to. The Price is Great too. You need to Order them for Dialysis &They come with 100 Bandaids in a size Large or XL Sureseal Pressure Bandaids for Dialysis..

I have very thin skin and need bandaide to hold but not tear my. Skin when removing it

Sure seal best bandaid for dialysis patients
I am on dialysis and a blood thinner, these bandaid stop the bleeding after treatment the best. A must buy if on dialysis.
