For those of us of us who are of a certain age and find it difficult to reach our feet in the shower or can't stand for the length of time we need for a good showering, this diminutive shower seat is the perfect solution and at a very good price. Very sturdy, takes my poundage without the slightest hint of stress. Handles on each side great to stabilize me as I reach for me toes. Very nice additional feature is that it is easily adjustable allows you to set it a the precise height that is most comfort for you. It does come in a few parts, but assembly was completed in only 10 minutes and without any tools -- super easy. The padded cushion seat was also an extra plus (I would have been happy with just the plastic seat, but a little butt padding is always a plus. Big fat feet on each leg also add to the overall stability. One thing I would suggest the company do -- since the padded seat is a simple stick-on, it would be nice to offer a few different colors as long as it is so easy to change; make all the plastic connector pieces a neutral color -- say silver or white -- so then the seat could add that extra touch of color that the consumer will have a choice at purchase. Just a thought, but in no way takes away from the 5 star rating.

Was looking for a shower chair for myself and I did read through a bunch of reviews and decided on this one . My daughter put it together in no time and so far it’s pretty perfect. I don’t think I’ll have to much trouble since it seems very sturdy and it’s exactly what I was looking for . My only complaint was in the middle of the seat a piece of sharp plastic around one of the holes (I’m assuming during production ) was not sanded down as it should have been and it left a very sharp plastic piece I did have to cut and sand down with a nail file . A minor issue and it’s perfect now and ready for use . Would recommend and repurchase

Only used once so far but I can say-- so easy to put together! Feels sturdy. Love the anti slip pad with adhesive to attach to top of seat. Non slip feet seem sturdy. Holes for drainage on seat! This stool does it all. Not cumbersome with arms or back makes it easy to get it in and out of shower stall. What a God send!

I bought this for myself, getting older now and my shower is small, bending over to clean myself is getting harder to reach my feet because of my knees and back injury. Sitting down in the shower makes this easier and safer. The construction is very sturdy and assembly was very easy. Each leg is adjustable with a push button lock mechanism. It's narrow enough to place in the corner out of the way but wide enough for me, 165lbs and 5'6", but it has a much higher carrying capacity. The thing I don't know is how corrosion resistant it is or for how long. It seems to be made with a coated aluminum frame work, stainless steel screws, and tough thick plastic for the seat. With basic cleaning and light lubrication this should last longer.

We bought this two years ago, so this review gives you a good look at how well the shower stool lasts. My husband is 6’ 225lbs and needs a seat in the shower. It fits in an older, smaller bath tub perfectly. It has been sturdy, comfortable and reliable. After two years, it’s getting a little grungy just because we haven’t been as good about deep cleaning as we should. All the screw holes and small parts need to be cleaned regularly. We just ordered another one since the price is very reasonable, so we definitely recommend this.

Sturdy, comfortable, fits the space just right. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Small enough to store in our small bathroom outside the shower. Very satisfied with this product. Thank you.

I am a 32 yr old currently on crutches and was non weight bearing for quite some time so to make showering easier, I got this. It’s light and was easy for me to pick up and move even while still non weight bearing—we have a shower/tub so also being able to move it around was crucial. It’s very sturdy and I’ve been using it for 10 weeks now with no issues. I’m partial weight bearing so don’t rely on it as much, but it was absolutely wonderful in those first 6 weeks. I do like the size because it fits in our shower/tub and I’m a small woman so it fit me perfectly too.

After 3 years the metal started to warp. Used 1x a week by 300 lbs on the hard days. Great till then

This shower stool does not feel very sturdy … it wobbles a little. After ankle surgery, I need a really stable stool to enable me to shower. This stool is a little lower than is ideal. The suction handle is a massive fail, and I am not using it. Although it attaches seemingly securely, it falls off after 5 or 10 minutes.

Bought the stool as my wife recently had knee surgery. She likes it and is pleased to have bought it. I assembled it. It seems sturdy and the adjusters work nice and smoothly. The rubber feet grip our acrylic tub well. All in all, I would gladly recommend this to family and friends.

solid build, no tools needed to assemble. Great color combo, light blue/silver, as per photos. I do not use the handle that came with the stool (no need), purpose of the purchase was the stool, handle was an added bonus.
