Great french press style coffee maker.
I own two of these now. I first bought one when I was on the road last summer and it quickly turned into an essential item I routinely throw in my bags when I'm traveling. Works beautifully and easily. Just put in ground coffee, add water, wait a few minutes, push down and put on the lid. Except for the lid and the seals on the plunger, it's all stainless steel so it's easy to clean and virtually unbreakable. It's also well insulated so the coffee remains warm for some time. I don't generally use it as a travel mug, but as a standard french press style brewer both at home and on the road. Capacity is enough so you'll get about two, six or seven ounce servings from it if you fill it nearly to the top. It can certainly be used as a travel mug for a car, but I use it as my main french press style coffee maker at home as well as on the road.

Wonderful concept but only worked a few weeks
I would give this little dynamo 5 stars if I could. It is such a great concept. I can easily and quickly make coffee or loose leaf tea and it does stay hot for a long time. The cup cleans up nicely and really is a brilliant concept. The problem is that after two months of use it's worthless. Either the filter is clogged (I tried soaking it in cider vinegar and using a soft brush to clean it) or the rubber gasket failed. I'm not sure which, but pressing the inner cylinder becomes almost impossible, and when I am able to push it down the liquid comes splashing up between the two. I can't figure out what the problem is and it is disappointing.
