Moldable Ear Protection
I recently tried out moldable ear protection for my five-year-old, and I must say, it has been a game-changer, especially during our family vacations that involve a lot of swimming. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive due to the warning about potential issues if the material got into the ear canal. However, I found that it's quite easy to use safely; you would really have to make an effort to push it too far in. The material is designed to be pressed gently around the outer ear, not inside the canal, making it safe and easy to mold. The application process was straightforward. I was able to simply press the material around my child’s ear, and it stayed put with decent adherence throughout the day, even with all the activity that comes with a playful five-year-old splashing around in the pool. It’s reassuring to know that the product stays in place and molds so well to the ear’s shape without causing discomfort or falling out. This ear protection has proven to be very effective in preventing water from getting trapped in my child’s ears, which has always been a concern for us, particularly after he would swim. Before we started using this product, he frequently experienced discomfort from water in his ears, but that hasn't been the case this time around. For any parent whose child is prone to getting water in their ears while swimming, I definitely recommend giving this moldable ear protection a try. It's easy to use, stays in place, and most importantly, it works to keep the water out, making swimming a much more enjoyable experience for both your child and you.

Great earplugs
These pink earplugs are sized for kids but they work well for anyone who has smaller ears. I buy them for my elderly mother who lives in a nursing home where some of the residents are very vocal. They help her sleep peacefully and help drown out the noise of the others. This waxy type plug is superior to the foam plugs. The moldable silicone stuff lets you shape it to your own special ear area. They don't go into the ear canal but rather go over it. They are good for swimming too!

Better than I imagined..
My son has tubes in his ear and regular kids ear plugs dont work for how active he is. When we initially tried these they were too big. But they worked great for summer camp! So I ordered more and we eventually figured out we can break them in four parts and they fit in his ears perfect. They were small enough to block the ear canal. I love that they are disposable and I love how they conform and are easy to take out. Highly Recommend this for children that have ear tubes/ ear issues or dont like to get water in their ears

Most effective and least invasive to the ear
I don't know if these silicone putty earplugs are effective for outdoor activities, (except for swimming?), but i have found them to be the most effective earplugs for long term usage when sleeping. Foam plugs work by expanding in the ear canal, which for me caused discomfort. These silicone putty plugs lay basically on the surface and don't invade the canal. Since they lay flat on the ear there is no problem with sleeping on my side. Foam plugs tend to stick out some and can put pressure on the ear when sleeping on my side. They are a bit more expensive , but definitely worth it to me....

Help 7 yr old with noise sensitivity and focus
I have an 8 yr old in my care with a lot of issues sitting still and focusing in school. He is also sensitive to loud sounds. I had a brain injury some 20 years ago and ear plugs were a lifeline in helping me cut down on some of the stimulation that overwhelmed me outside of the home. My son wanted to take hiphop dance lessons and do performances with the dance company l, but I knew he wouldn’t be able to tolerate the loudness of the music that required. So I decided to have him try silicone earplugs and he was able to tolerate the music without ANY issues. Then we decided to give them a shot at school and his ability to focus and do his work was vastly improved. In fact, one day a few months ago he had a terrible day at school. The teacher said he was “off” all day and just kind of shut down at one point and she had him go to nurses office to rest a bit. He had told her his body felt “weird”. When I picked him up, my normally happy and extroverted child appeared withdrawn and sullen. When we got home and explored what was going on, it was discovered that he had forgotten to put his earplugs in and was just completely overwhelmed by the stimulation. He said that everything was “too noisy”. We supplied his teacher with a few extra pair of earplugs and have a plan in place now to make sure he is never without his earplugs at school again.

Risky and Itchy
I like buying the on in Walmart, and it’s good. So I tried this one since I thought it is similar, but its not. The silicon separates and risky cause it will go inside the ears. I stopped using it cause it makes my ears itchy as compared to the one I bought in Walmart

Yay for sleep
I am a light sleeper and wear earplugs every single night. I have been through every type imaginable. These are the gold standard for me. The foam ones are too stiff and hurt my ears eventually, but these silicone ones are where it’s at. I just ignore the warning about not putting it into my ear, roll it between my fingers a little to make a cylinder, and pop it in. There’s no way that thing is going to fall in or something, so I feel fine about it. It works so well and isn’t painful at all! These child size ones are plenty big enough; I found that for the adult ones, I had to remove part because they were too big. This multi-pack is the cheapest way to buy these.

I actually split one in half for my 6 year old's ears to get them to fit better since one per ear is too big. But it molds great and works great! Never falls out of his ears during his swimming lessons and he says no water goes in his ears. Just for context - I purchased this since he has ear tubes in his ears and to prevent dirty water from causing an infection, plus he was having pain when water went directly into his middle ear due to the tubes. Since he used these he's had no problems.
