It’s a very nice flashlight! Worth the purchase.
Super bright. Very durable, and extremely compact. This is the only flashlight worth buying if you are willing to spend $50 or whatever the price is. You could purchase another flashlight from any brand and I would almost guarantee that it would not even come close to touching this type of technology, and quality. I’ve seen bright flashlight’s, but I was shocked #1 for the amount of light this puts out, and #2 the size. I initially thought that it was damaged because it had been left out in the rain, but it apparently is waterproof and did not work because I needed to charge it first. The charging cable does kind of suck because it’s magnetic and it’s tricky to get it in the right spot and I’m order for it to stay there you have to let it sit without moving it, but the battery lasts a good amount of time unless it’s on turbo mode, which by the way will catch something on fire if it is touching the lens of the flashlight so be careful , although that is a very useful happenstance because,, if you need to start a fire for any reason, you could easily start one with only this flashlight! There are several different settings I believe they are like 20 lm and then 100 lm and then 900 lm and then 2000 lm or something and then it’s like 4500 lm on average for turbo mode. It has a strobe mode and the ability to be locked by pressing the button four times so it isn’t going to be turned on in your pocket on accident, and an led screen display. It can literally turn pitch black dark forests into daytime.. buy it!! :D

Mini power house here!!!
This is one tiny little power house!! I admit I have a bit of an obsession with gadgets, especially ones that have practical use and flashlights are no exception. This is a super light, but quality made flashlight perfect for your pocket. Every light that I have that's truly pocket small, is weak. This thing is absolutely incredible. The button on the tailcap is easily accessible and easily clicks with good feedback. The mode selection is easy and not overly cumbersome as some lights are . You have everything you'd need, Turbo, normal and strobe. When I first turned it on I got what I expected. I was on "normal". This is about what you get from most lights at this price point. Then I hit turbo and got light output that matches my 100+ dollar flashlights!! I have a few that truly only last a few seconds in high mode so I left turbo on and walked the yard. The body is metal so it does get warm but this actually doubles in the winter as a handwarmer as I've seen from a popular survivalist youtube channel. There is a super nice LED display for battery life that frankly put isn't on ANY of my high end lights. It also lit up warning me when the light was overheating when I was just testing the turbo mode walkin around. I turned it off when I noticed the indicator. It felt "warm plate" hot but every nice light I have has "HOT" warnings on the light because this kind of output just makes heat... That's science folks. The charger is magnetic, very nice touch!! Some lights use slides w/ orings, some keep the battery internal and require you to open the flashlight to charge the battery, MOST just use a rubber USB port cover.. This magnetic design is superior and reminds me of the weapon light charger for my Olight Odin which was far more expensive. Buy this now if you need a pocket light that will light up a football field! I am not one that is going to scientifically measure to see if I'm getting every single lumen but I can tell you from visual experience, this light is freaking BRIGHT! For its size I expected it to stay bright for 20 seconds. It blew my expectations out of the water. This will get plenty of use as my other everyday carry flashlight is substantially larger and has similar output.

Tiny, useful, but has some issues (battery life, clunky interface, more...)
Given how small this thing is, this thing IS pretty powerful and quite useful, albeit with some limitations that keep it from being a truly great product. Let's break down the PROS and CONS of the Imalent LD70 Mini: PROS: ------- * This thing is TINY (about as long as an adult index finger), and thus VERY portable. * The all metal construction makes it feel quite durable * Gets to about 3,100 lumens on its maximum setting * Beam throw is ~100 feet (maybe a little more) * Some smaller lights tend to have a narrow, spotlight-like beam, but this one has good flood! * Battery life is quite solid on its lower settings (20 and 200 lumens). * Charging is relatively quick, going from 3.2v (near empty) to 4.2v (full) in 68 minutes. * The strobe mode would work excellently to disorient an attacker in a self-defense situation * The battery is capable of constant high amperage output (an absolute necessity for 1k+ lumens) CONS: ------- * The user interface on this thing is clunky at best - To prevent accidental turn-on in pocket, you must press the single button 4 times quickly. - You must press and hold the single button a few seconds to go from low to high modes. - The 4k/strobe modes are enabled by double-pressing the button quickly, then again. - Turning off those modes require a single press. - These button combos don't feel intuitive at all, and it's easy to forget to lock the thing. - I gave one of these to my dad and he burnt the heck out of his thigh when it turned on in his pocket. - There are plenty of small, one-button flashlights with GOOD interfaces on the market. - Feels like Imalent needs to go back to the drawing board on this thing's user interface * In lieu of USB-C, Imalent chose to use a proprietary magnetic charging system that's finicky - The charge cable is a USB-A cable with two magnetic contacts on the other end - These contacts are VERY magnetic, and it's NOT hard to short them on anything metal in the vicinity - Cable itself has no intelligent circuit, the cable gets VERY hot over time if it shorts on something - I've had the cable short to the metallic leg of one of my desks over a weekend (I went camping) - When I came back, some of the sleeving on the cable had melted - It's only because my computer (which it was plugged into) had died that it didn't start a fire * The brightness doesn't match advertised levels: - it doesn't actually hit 4,000 lumens (never went higher than 3,100 lumens in my testing) - it gets VERY hot at 5+ minutes on the 900 lumen setting (which is actually ~800 lumens) - gets VERY hot instantly at 2k and 4k lumen settings - 4k lumen setting sustains for MAYBE 10 secs before it ramps down due to excess heat - Shine the 2k lumen beam at something close enough for long enough and you'd prob start a fire * The battery drain is unreasonably high at higher settings. - I can understand the 4k lumen setting absolutely chewing through power w/ this tiny battery - ...but on the 900 lumen setting, you get maybe 45 minutes of battery life - Some of my other small lights give me 90-120 minutes at 800-900 lumens - Power settings go from 20/200/900/2000/4000 lumens - Imalent probably would've been better off adding extra settings between to limit the huge jumps - A 500 lumen setting would've been a really nice compromise between brightness and battery life CONCLUSION: ---------------- Despite the cons w/ the finicky interface and the decent (but not great) battery life, the things this little light does right make it more than worth the price at $45-$60 in my opinion. This has been a genuinely useful tool for me, and it's still taking a full 100% (4.2v) charge after 3 months of pretty heavy use. I was lucky to get it for $45 (on sale here on Amazon) but I'd be more than happy to pay $60 to pick one up. If you buy it, understand you're getting an *absurdly* powerful light (for its size), but also understand that in order for any light to put out 2,000+ lumens, it's going to be generating a LOT of heat and chewing through a LOT of power. If you're looking for a light that can sustain a *more than useful* 200 or 900 lumen output for a reasonable amount of time between charges, you can do far, far worse than the Imalent LD70 Mini, especially for the price.

1 of the best lights I ever bought
Wish it took less time to charge but other than that. This is LIL OLE RELIABLE. Bright asf! Small, compact, EDC light. Good quality/made well! Won’t break on you like most do. Simple one button operation- for on/off, modes(light brightness levels). Wish I had gotten the 6000 lumen now lol

Super, super bright!
This little flashlight is so bright you have to be careful not to damage your eyes or someone else's eyes or animal's eyes, etc. At the first setting of 20 lumen, you can see great in a completely dark room. At 200 lumen, the light will brighten an entire alley. At 900 lumen, you can light up a large warehouse. At 2000 lumen you can light up a football field and at 4000 lumen, you can light up a stadium! I think it is truly the world's brightest flashlight for it's size. The style of the light is ultra modern and futuristic looking. You can't take it apart as the parts are interlocked and permanent. The battery lasts a good amount of time considering how bright the light gets and be warned, the flashlight does get warm! That is to be expect of any light over 1000 lumens and this one gets up to 4000 lumens! There is a warning if it get's too hot and I believe it will not turn on if it's over heating (great safety feature!). The little light is rugged, durable and reliable. This would look as appropriate in a purse as it would to the front pocket of some old jeans. I went with the black color but it comes in many different colors to suit anyone's taste. The next one I get will be the red one! Terrific light at a reasonable price. If you are on the fence, don't be. Purchase on of these Imalent LD70 flashlights! You won't be disappointed!

Excellent hand warmer, terrible flashlight
First of all, this is a 900 lumen flashlight, for a few minutes. Then it's a 200 lumen flashlight. At the high or turbo settings, you absolutely can't hold it without gloves. No exaggeration whatsoever. It WILL get hot enough to burn you after a few seconds. And at the 900 lumen setting, it still gets just as hot, but it takes a few minutes. So, basically, after the first few minutes, you have to turn it down to the point where it's not as bright as a decent keychain flashlight. So...just get one of those. I have a Royvon A1 on my keychain that is 3x as bright on high as the highest setting on the LD70 that won't eventually burn you. And it'll do it for half an hour longer, costs half as much, and is smaller than most car fobs. I mean, it's impressive for the short time you can hold it. The throw is...well, you likely can actually throw it farther, but at least it'll be daytime in your immediate area. It looks very nice. Really nice, actually. And the UI is great. It's a good size and feels nice in the hand. I don't think I could carry it in a pocket all day, but it'll do. The thing is, I also have the Nitecore T4K. To be fair, it's an equally stupid flashlight, but for other reasons. But it's brighter than the LD70 (I know, same stated lumens, but it feels slightly brighter to me). It also barely gets warm, aside from the front bit, on any setting. It doesn't do 4000 lumens for long, but you can keep switching back to it all day long and not burn yourself. I mean, I can't think of a practical use for either flashlight. Neither lasts long enough for camping, unless you have a way to charge it constantly. And again, neither is bright enough to be practical on a setting that won't either cause 3rd degree burns (LD70) or dim after 10 seconds (T4K). The LD70 is too big for a pocket, IMO. It's fine short-term, but would be pretty annoying for something like an 8 hour shift at work. And the T4K is slightly more pocketable, but it will eventually turn itself on, regardless of lockout, and ruin your day (and your pants). But it won't burn you in actual use, which I feel is the minimum that should be expected of a flashlight. And none of that is the worst thing about this flashlight. That would be the proprietary magnetic charger. How does that nonsense get put into a product anymore? Just stick a USB-C port on it like literally everyone else. Or let me remove the battery to charge it. Even a micro-USB port would do. It'd still make fun of it, but at least it's practical and easily replaceable. I will lose this cable, guaranteed. Then I guess I just buy a whole new flashlight? Oh wait, no. I won't lose it, actually, because I'll always have it on me, since I'll have to recharge the flashlight every hour or so.

Be careful! Use the lock feature. This thing is POWERFUL for it's size!
I usually don't write reviews on the first day I get the item, let alone like 2 or 3 hours after using it the first time. This time I'm making an exception for safety reasons. ⚠️⚠️ BE CAREFUL. This is POWERFUL for it's size.⚠️⚠️ I left it for like 2 or 3 seconds at most, maybe less, and it started burning my mattress cover. Pros: - lock feature (use it or you risk burns, starting fires, etc.) (yes, I'm being very serious here) - can start a fire if you're lost in the woods/camping, etc. Cons: - can cause serious bodily harm, or even death due to a fire - can start a fire (accidentally/somewhere where a fire isn't a good idea) - can cause temporary/permanent blindness (probably quickly) due to how powerful and bright it gets - gets warm/hot and FAST (but you can see in the picture how powerful it is. NOTE: to use the lock/unlock feature, WHILE OFF, quickly press the power button 4 times. It will show the icon. (And just to be 100% clear, it was an accident. I DID NOT mean to accidentally burn my mattress cover a little bit. I'm probably going to have to get a new mattress cover now. 😐🫤)

Very bright, but one issue.
This light is a good light for anyone that wants to out shine their friends. Because it’s super bright!!! Like this is a big flood light that will light up a big area like crazy! But only on 2000-4000 lumen mode. But the only thing that I would say is the time is short on higher lumen modes. That’s the only thing I would say about this light. 900 lumen is manageable for most cases until you need to light up a area that seems out of place or people in your back yard and maybe even for hunting. Good for the money on a budget. And weight is very light. Functions are easy to use and it has a little oled screen that helps with voltages and what setting you’re on, even shows lock out mode too. Can burn a hole in your pocket if not careful. But I haven’t even had it that long to feel it. Does get super hot on higher lumen nodes and drops down after it heats up but can be put back into 2000-4000 lumens. Unless voltage drops below 3.5v. Hope this helps! And you won’t regret having a light this size to light up your way! Durability I haven’t even tried to drop it for that. I don’t abuse my tools like that. Have fun!
