Allstate Leather Men's AL2001 Basic M.C. jacket 44 Black

Just received this jacket on 9/27/13. Great quality leather jacket at an affordable cost. I looked online at many sites and local shops to see what was out there. It's been about 12 years or so since shopping for a biker style jacket and was a little uneasy about ordering from an online store because I know that all leather jackets fit differently, but after taking my measurements and ordering 1 size up from that, I am pretty happy with the way the jacket fits. I'm 5'7 with a 44" chest, so I ordered a 46. when zipped up, it fits a little snug which most biker jackets should, so with continuing to loose weight as I have been doing, this jacket should work out good for me for the next couple years(unless of course I drastically loose a bunch of weight....which wouldn't be a bad thing..lol). Now, the jacket itself is of good quality, stitching is really good and it is not a real thick leather, which I happen to like because I don't like my jackets too bulky. Zippers are really nice and have had no hang ups with them, ...very smooth. About my only complaint I have, which I have seen this in other reviews on this particular jacket, is that the buckle could be bigger and better quality. It's quite small and doesn't feel very sturdy, but certainly not a deal breaker at the cost of the jacket. I would definitely recommend this jacket for someone that is not looking to spend a lot of money, but wants a decent quality leather biker jacket, or someone looking to buy their first biker jacket and doesn't want to spend an arm and leg. I do not ride a motorcycle, I am just a lover of the style of this particular kind of jacket. There are tons of other reviews by bikers who can give you a more descriptive review for riding purposes but not too many from others. I will certainly wear this jacket for a few years before upgrading to a more expensive, better quality leather, but you really can't beat the price for this one. If your on a budget and want a good leather, just take a chance and order it....you'll be happy with it! If I have any problems with the jacket in the near future, I will update this review.

My son is 10 years old, 56" tall, 71 lbs and the sz 28 barely fit. We returned it for a sz 32 so there would be some room to grow.The jacket itself is thick leather with good styling and quality snaps and buckles. It is a real bargain at this price.

I am stunned by the quality. No way you can get a good leather jacket at that price anywhere else. Looks and feels like a 300.00 dollar jacket. Thick leather. Quality zippers. Flawless stitching. Great fit. I wear a 42 normally so I ordered a 44. Fits beautifully while still leaving room for a hoody or bulky sweater. This jacket will definitely keep out the cold. Built like iron.l see these going for hundreds in the stores.Shocked. Gonna have to buy more for gifts at Christmas. Definitely recommend. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG. JUST BUY IT. Cannot wait to ride tomorrow............

I love it! Shipped super fast, well packaged. Arrived in pristine condition. People complaining about the waist buckle obviously don't ride, any bigger and it would be a hindrance sitting on the bike! Not to mention scratch the tank. This jacket is well thought out, well designed, well built, and the advice on sizing was very good! I followed their sizing instructions and measured +2 inches on size, it fits PERFECTLY which is a feat considering the length of my arms. The seller did a smash up job just like the makers. Fantastic leather!!!

Great jacket im very happy with it but the leather is not what I realy wanted, its split cowhide leather and not top grade so keep that in mind if your looking for protection and quality. the jacket had some flakes on it and I didn't even start to wear it yet..im keeping it and using it as a jacket for when im not worried about it getting damaged its also nod as soft and luxurious like my other leather jacket I got years ago that is too small for me . don't get me wrong its nice but the leather looks almost fake like its vinyl to me. the surface looks like it is stamped to look like cowhide skin and where it has flakes the color is blue underneath as if it was not dyed correctl or just dyed on top.I did put some leather conditioner(neatsfoot oil/mink oil) on it and it douse look a little better but its not going to be my going out to dinner show type jacket as I thought it would be. seems like the leather is not going to last. if you want a better jacket at almost the same price or lower in my case and a better quality leather buy an xelement b7100 classic leather jacket at leather up dot com, it's top grade leather and not split leather like this one. all in all if your looking for something to just work around the yard or something then this is the jacket for you. I don't think it would give much protection in a motorcycle crash so get a different one if that's what you need. this is definetly a lower quality leather than I wanted but for the price it wasn't a total waste of my time.if you like this look and want a more sturdy leather go with the xelement jacket. my 2 cents!

The Jacket itself was fine .. only it was too small.. The return was not as simple as any return I have had in the past .. get on Amazon click return print out a label and its on its way.. OH NO NO NO... Not with the BIKERS ZONE.. I had to pay the post office 17.00 dollars to return it .. Then The Bikers Zone wanted more money to ship the correct size back and also wanted to charge me more for going up one size... I am now just waiting for a full refund on the jacket and I ate the cost of shipping.. No more Ordering from the Bikers Zone from me!!!

Well worth the low price. Is it thick, high quality leather? No. Compared to my Kerr jackets, there is no comparison. Does it look and fit OK? Yes. I noticed some problems with the leather (small pin-holes showing through the black leather). It is quite light weight. This huge jacket (sadly, I've put on some weight) weighs about about half what my much small Kerr jackets weigh. Is is serviceable? Yes. I am happy with the value. For a value-priced jacket, I think you'll be happy.
