I have been using the One With Nature Dead Sea Mud Dead Sea Minerals Soap for over a year. It was cheap, long lasting, great value. I decided to try this at is similarly priced and also has free add-on shipping.One of the main differences from the Dead Sea Mud, which I love, is the smoother/non-grainy texture of the soap. I personally prefer the Dead Sea Mud for it grainy exfoliating properties, but this bar of soap is still great.The Dead Sea Mud offered no scent at all, whereas this bar does have a Eucalyptus scent. The scent is definitely mild, but it is there. Some people may prefer a more poignant smelling bar. I actually like that the scent is mild and not overpowering.In terms of cleaning properties I think it does a perfectly adequate job. I think I will be keeping both this bar and a Dead Sea Mud bar in my shower at all times depending on the mood I am in. Sometimes I want an exfoliating bar, sometimes I want a bar with a little more fragrance. Both are of the same quality and same value. I strongly recommend either of those two soaps.

I couldn't find this in any stores and found it here. The smell of this soap is amazing with only one caveat to the soap itself. That being it might leave your skin a bit dry if you don't use an additional moisturizer. Everything else about the soap is great. You feel clean after a shower and smell amazing. The only other reason to take a star off is because it's plastic packaging arrived slightly scuffed/torn. Otherwise would recommend this soap to everyone.

Everything would be great about this soap if it had not been mailed in a stupid barely padded envelope. The corners were all chipped and turned white because it was not packed correctly. I would never buy soap in this condition in a store. In fact, I would turn it down as a gift. Aside from the damage it is a generous size, pretty translucent orange color and smells excellent. Amazon is at fault here not the maker of the soap.

My husband has very oily skin and he needs something to help dry his skin. I had him try a bar of dead sea salt soap before and it seemed to work well. So, I thought I would get him another one, but different brand. He really likes this one a lot too. He says it lathers up well and is keeping his face dry and not as oily for longer.I got the bar wet and sudsy so I could see how it feels and to me it feels like a dry suds, not slippery. I think that is from the sulfur in the soap. It doesn't really have a good scent, just smells like a castile soap does. The other brand sea salt bar soap we had was the same way.Dead Sea Salt products are really great for the skin, especially oily skin. I think this is well worth the money. Even though I get all of my toiletries for free or almost free because I am an extreme couponer, I will still pay this much for a bar of soap. Soap has good foaming action but sorely lacking in its main feature, its fragrance. No grapefruit or guava fragrance coming thu.Update 1/26/24Well, have used product for a couple of weeks now and so my rating has further gone down. Product only has a very faint scent, certainly not discernable as grapefruit and/or guava. Soap lather is good but what I buy a scented soap is for the 1) a solid definable scent and 2) its longevity as a bath bar. So far I cannot comment on its longevity, but it totally fails the scent criteria.

This is a very nice real soap made from a palm oil base, not a detergent or sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, as many bars of soap are. I don't know if the naturally occurring glycerine from the soap making process was left in the soap or removed as part of the soap making process. Sometimes soap makers do remove the glycerine and sell it separately. Soaps with the glycerine left in the mix are much nicer to use, more soothing to the skin and clean better than those without. These bars are a good bath size, and do have a nice but not overpowering eucalyptus scent. Don't know how the "Dead Sea Mineral Salts" add to the feel of the lather or results -- I suspect those were simply added as a selling point.I was disappointed to see the price increased from three-plus dollars to five-plus dollars per bar after my order arrived. I guess I won't be reordering unless the price drops again when I run out. I'm just frugal enough that a five dollar bar of soap, no matter how nice, raises an eyebrow.

Very gentle on the skin ,but leaves you feeling fresh and clean. Well worth the cost it does not melt when hit with water.
