Vornado 753 Large Whole Room Air Circulator

From 110º here in Phoenix, AZ: This is THE BEST fan. The very best. Arrived last week as the temperatures began to soar. I positioned it at one end of the great room. Pleased to report: I can set my thermostat at 83º, turn this fan to the medium setting, and sit/write/eat very comfortably @ my kitchen table at the opposite far end of the room. 83º sounds nuts, I admit. But, it’s also nuts (in the best of senses) that this fan can easily keep a room cool and comfortable. No noise to speak of. Air flow is supreme. Works like a charm. There we go. One superb fan.

For years I have been purchasing Vornado products. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but worth every penny. They last for years and are just as quiet and efficient after years of service. Sure other fans are cheaper, but consider the annoying noise levels they produce. I do not want to hear the rattle and clanking sound all day long. The quiet hum of a Vornado fan is joyous. So, spend a few extra dollars for a product worth its weight in efficiency.

This fan lives on top of my kitchen cabinet, plugged into an Amazon smart plug, and quietly does its job like it signed an agreement and actually read the terms. It turns on when it’s supposed to, moves air efficiently, and never asks for attention or praise. Despite its calm demeanor, it moves a serious amount of air. The room feels more comfortable and evenly balanced, especially in a space where heat likes to collect. It doesn’t just push air around—it actually improves how the room feels, which is the whole point. It’s impressively quiet, solidly built, and clearly designed to work without becoming part of the background noise of daily life. Once it was set up, it disappeared into the routine in the best way possible. No rattles, no distractions—just steady, reliable circulation. If you want a fan that performs well, blends seamlessly into your home, and quietly improves your day without demanding credit for it, this one earns the purchase. I didn’t think I’d have strong feelings about a fan, but here we are.

This fan does cool a room 12’ x 14’. While it fan does pivot up and down, it does Not pivot down far enough.

Mediocre at best. This fan, on high speed, doesn't move nearly the amount of air the smaller Vornado EXO51 does on low speed. Is it quiet? Yep. Cooling? Nope. Because there is no real power behind the air flow. I'm sorry I bought it. I love the small Vornados and could have gotten two more of those for the same prices as this one. Very disappointed.

If you need a really strong fan, Vornado is terrific quality. Fan is strong and not super loud on lower settings. Feels very stable very well built.

I purchased a Vornado 10" table fan. Works like a charm as has my 25 year old previous Vornado purchase.

Does not seem to work as well as the stand up fan.
