I just had surgery for a quad tendon tear. The surgeon ordered 24/7 immobilization for at least 4 weeks. The brace supplied by the doctor’s office has a clunky hinge that is uncomfortable especially during sleep. So, I ordered this one to try out. It actually immobilizes my leg better than the one from the doctor’s office and is more comfortable. When the brace is tightened sufficiently, my leg is firmly fixed at zero degrees flex as ordered by the doctor. It will slip down when walking if not tightened sufficiently. That isn’t a problem for me so far because the doctor does not want me walking at all except for trips to the bathroom.

I broke my knee cap and had to keep my leg completely immobilized for 6+ weeks. I purchased this brace to wear in the shower, so i wouldn't have to use the one I wore in public. I found this brace to be more comfortable and easier to get the proper fit than the one the Dr. gave me. It has 6 strong Velcro straps making it easier to more accurately conform to the shape of my leg. Another major plus - you can take the rods out to wash it. Because of the support and comfort this brace provided, I wound up using this one as my public brace, and my knee healed perfectly! Amazing price. Amazing Quality! Amazing comfort (by comparison)!

Tore something in my knee, so I needed my knee joint completely immobilized. This brace worked okay. Its comfortable, easy to use, but I really wish the straps were wider for a more snug fit, it does slide up up and down a bit when I stand up, but it works. Its not quite as good as the ones Kaiser would use, but like I said it works. I'm 5-9" 209lb, so the size large fits ok.

Worked great . Knew i needed one , didn't need an er visit , went to urgent care with this on , Dr lady said perfect , rest , ice compression elevation and all that . It was a re occurring injury and I had thrown the original away I had from the Dr last time. This thing was fine for a replacement to those. Even a bit easier to mold the back bar .

Does a great job of immobilizing the knee. However, if you need to walk at all, it tends to slip down creating the need to hold it while walking and/or readjust when you get to where you're going. If you are just sitting there or lying there, you're good. The rivs can be removed for washing which is a plus. If it would stay in place while walking, I would give 5☆.

Cheap quality, does not hold well. Velcro not that strong.

I fractured my fibula and the cheap one the hospital gave me fell apart in 3 days. I bought this one and it was solid.

Would be great if I had mobility problems. I wanted something more flexible for daily walk

Waste of money. Who the f$*# saz it’s universal? It’s made for kids.
