4 stars because sometimes it doesn't pickup motion. Need to wave trash a couple times before it opens. Not all the time but 1 out of 5 times it doesn't pick up your motion to open lid

The sensor works great to open the door. Our three little dogs can't knock it over plus smells are contained. It does need to be emptied often because the lid takes up a portion of the 13 gallon space. But I'd buy it again...

I’m not sure yet. But I live the way it looks n fits the space. Jury still out on how it’s detecting.

Seems a little smaller then my last trash can. It does smudge still but overall I like it.

The media could not be loaded.  My trash can used to smell, no matter how many times I took out the trash!! Now with this trash can, the lining keeps ZERO odor.

Had this item for about two months now.. It said that it filters and I was wondering why is wasn't doing its job.. Two weeks ago I realized I never took the filter out the plastic smh.. Very good product

The motion sensing is almost too good on this can as it pops open from just walking by. It's definitely not smudge proof, being silver in color. As for the odor elimination, it doesn't eliminate it so much as contain it. When it pops open, you will of course get the release of odors if you've thrown out anything particularly smelly, but as long as it's closed there are no constant permeating smells! It's a great product, my own grip is that to change the bag you must remove the top and an inner ring, which isn't unusual for a trash can in this style, but is made more inconvenient due to the attached adapter cable. This can't be helped, I just feel weird setting something with a cable attached on the ground. 9/10, great product, great value!
