Can these be activated by putting? Want to use for a backyard putting green.

If you drop them on concrete from a height of 3 feet they will illuminate. From the tee with a driver its a great light show and easy to find in the fairway or the rough. I'm not sure they will illuminate unless they're struck hard enough with the putter.

Single use only once activated?

No, I played 18 holes that night with no issues. Light up every time I hit the ball if I didn’t get to it within 6 minutes.

Does the clock reset to 8 minutes when it is hit even though it's already on? Last brand I used didn't do that so they were useless.

To get around this I use a few of the balls.
