Ordered this sampler a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. All of them are strong in flavor and the aromas are nice. I was surprised that some of the teas came in rolled up balls, but I didn't notice any difference in quality vs a local loose leaf tea that I bought. I generally like black teas and this was a great way to try different types of chai. The flavor is strong enough that you can resteep for a second cup and get a slightly less flavorful cup of tea. If you're on your last tea leaves for a specific sampler, that may be a good idea for you. My favorites were the original chai, earl grey, saffron, assam, and the cardamom. The fennel and turmeric I didn't like as much, but my friend did so she had no problem finishing them. I liked the rest of the flavors, also, and I have yet to try the Kashmiri Kahwa but I bet it will be great. This is a great gift for tea lovers or people who want to try different chai flavors. For what you get, the price is worth it. I plan on ordering the earl grey chai again. Pros: - Strong and deep flavor - Smooth - Nice aroma - Great variety - Good sampler to start with and be exposed to flavors - Very fast shipping - Tea came in a large sealed bag, with smaller sealed bags containing the separate teas. It kept the tea leaves nicely. - Each tea envelope had instructions on how much to add, how long, and what temperature water to use. It's nice because I'm fairly new to steeping loose leaf teas. Cons: - On the pricier end but worth it - If you really enjoy the tea you'll go through the samplers fast Make sure you like strong teas before you order this, or you may not like this sampler as much (if you like weaker teas it's better to go for their other samplers).

This tea feels luxuriously indulgent. My parents brought chai teas home from their stay Middle East some years ago. I’ve always liked chai but that tea was far more bold and exotic than anything I’d had before. I’ve searched for the same level of authentic warmth but nothing came close. I was able to get my hands on some here and there via traveling or military friends but longed for a consistent source. Vahdam tea popped up in my suggestions on Amazon so I though it was worth a try. I enjoyed the story of the small locally sourced family farm. Being stuck in quarantine I needed something to brighten my day. After a long day of home schooling and cooking and keeping kids entertained; I stove brewed my milk and tea, straining it into my mug, watching the caramel swirls, and soaking in the spices wafting into the air. The first sip took me on a mental vacation. Somewhere the air was warm (I live in Alaska and it’s still snowing, I needed warm) and thick, and exotic animals sang a choral melody in a deep forest. My quiet little living room was transformed while I sipped. It’s the smallest thing, tea, but it was a few minutes of self pampering I desperately needed. I haven’t even tried all the flavors yet but each one has been so fresh and decadent. This tea is an absolute treat, a warm hug in a cup, a portal in a mug... you get the idea. Trust me, just buy the tea.

I am hard to please when it comes to chai. I want a flavor that wakes up my senses and lingers on my tongue. This is it! I got the variety pack, thinking I would try them all and pick my favorite. But I have loved them all. They are each slightly different and bring a unique flavor to the forefront, while still resting in the security of a good, solid chai base. The presentation is beautiful - it would make a great gift. And I love the info included about the company - packing the teas fresh from the field and being able to provide good living wages to the workers. They even have set up a program using 1% of their profits for the education of the tea workers. Even if you don't care about a good company with good working conditions and fair wages, you will still love this tea because of its big, authentic flavors. It seriously makes my morning as I prepare myself a cup. I've been using 1 tsp. per cup (as per the instructions) and then doing a second soak of the tea leaves in half as much water as its calls for. The second cup is weaker, but still good. But that first strong cup is amazing. And I admit that I am quite critical when it comes to chai teas, often judging my local coffee shops based on the strength of their chai offerings. You won't regret this. I am already thinking of all my chai-loving friends who might be excited to receive a pack of this tea at their doorstep to bring a little cheer and a big burst of flavor to these tough days of isolation. I loved this sampler, it's a great way to try different teas. I like strong bold flavors and love traditional chai. Finding tea that's strong from tea bags it's a lost cause in my opinion so I decided to try their loose leaves. I give 4 stars as there were some teas that were weak or I truly didn't like. But most of them are good and 3 of them became an instant favorite in my opinion. I double the amount of tea leaves used, so instead of 1 I use 2 teaspoons per a bit less than a cup and I make mine with milk. the Double spice, Assam and Turmeric are the strongest and yummiest of them all. Will definitely keep buying this brand and recommend to anyone. I'm no tea expert but since trying a traditional chai from an friend that made it as his Indian family's tradition, this is the closest to that flavor and I'm so happy. It has been years of trying different chai mixes from homemade to store bought, so happy to have finally found one I truly like.

This was an Amazing sampler! Not only was everyone of them fresh, fragrant & delicious, but there was a generous amount of each one. When I think of samples I think one tiny serving, I got 3-4 pots of tea with each of these, a great way to find the chai of your dreams! I don't know the caffeine content nor did I notice any caffeine type effects, wasn't particularly jittery, wasn't up all night. I drank this and was able to go right to sleep, but everyone's chemistry is didferent.

I now know just what REAL TEA tastes like! Talk about a shock to your tastebuds! I have tried every one of the 10 samples some I liked a little more than others but I would have to say that I'd feel this is down to each persons preference. I will certainly be purchasing other varieties of tea from this company! So far it is the best that I've tasted from anywhere or any one. Reading the list of ingredients & spices that are added with such care helps you to identify the flavours of each individual tea as it is savoured. It is an incredible learning curve for each & every different spice or herb that you learn to identify as quite frankly our tastebuds are not as well developed as those in countries where these types of infusions are far more common. I have to give Vahdam Teas 10 out of 10 for spotting a niche in the market & going for it. I like the ethical information that comes with the pack & the enthusiasm that comes over very strongly! I'm intreagued to read of the young man that has broken the mold for this type of tea gathering, customer & supplier care that he seems to have imbued this company with. Try some not too exotic ones if you've always purchased your tea with a sell by date & I promis that the next cuppa of your usual tea will not entice you to go back to it! Make sure that you give Vahdam Teas a good chance before you try your usual as your taste has to develope & frankly be educated to the different types of tea out there! Absolutely love these. Ich habe schon verschiedene Tees von VAHDAM gekauft. Besonders toll finde ich, dass man dort die einzelnen Sorten auch in "größeren Gebinden" kaufen kann (z.B. 100 Teebeutel), wodurch man enorm unnötige Plastikverpackung einsparen kann. Der Sampler ist die perfekte Art, die Sorten einmal auszuprobieren, um dann zu wissen, wovon man mehr bestellt. Die einzelnen Tees sind "aromafrisch" verpackt, und beim Öffnen jedes Beutels strömt einem ein himmlischer Geruch nach exotischen Gewürzen entgegen. Natürlich ist der eine Tee mehr mein Geschmack als der andere, aber das ist ja der Sinn der Sache. In allen Fällen ist die Qualität, das Aroma und die Kombination der Zutaten 1a!
