Solingen Nail Scissors Curved Blade – Precision German Steel for Fingernails & Toenails, Manicure & Pedicure, Extra Sharp with Stylish Storage Case

I had an older pair of these scissors that needed replacing. These are very high quality and come with a nice protective cast....needed because the pointed end is extremely sharp as are the blades. I know from my previous pair (about 40 years old) that Solingen lasts forever. My old ones finally got dull enough that I decided to replace them.

After trying to find a pair of nail scissors that were sharp and sturdy in the drugstore from my past brand of Revlon and finding out they were now cheap junk, I bought these after reading Amazon reviews. They are excellent! Well made, sharp, accurate, able to use my non dominant hand to trim nails on the dominant hand accurately without any problems. I would not buy anything else but these again. Worth stockpiling!!

This is the second time I purchased these. Why two times? Well, the first one was such a great pair of nail scissors, sharp, well built to last forever... forever yes, unless you lose them. That's exactly what happened and when it happened, there was lots of yelling (not nice vocabulary) in the house and everybody had to be on a hunt. Couldn't find it, so quickly ordered another pair (as Amazon is great with next day delivery) and saved the rest of the week. So, if you happen to have mischievous fairies in the house, I suggest purchase at least two pairs as one may go to the parallel world... just saying 😉.

These are great! I ordered them to cut my newborns nails. The point allows for precision which is helpful when cutting such little and delicate fingernails!

It is an excellent set of scissors and Solingen is one of the premier companies out there. I was hoping for something a bit sturdier. I know I shouldn't --- but I have been using scissors of this type to also cut my smaller toenails. I can't do it with this one. Put differently: the scissors are a bit on the delicate side. If this is what you seek, go buy them.

These scissors replaced some that had seen better days. I am much happier with these. They are sturdy and easy to handle.
