The cow is very cute and adorable. It’s heavy duty and very nice touch to my cast iron pan.

Great knob for any lid
Just love this little guy. It is much heavier than expected and very well made. It is supposed to be safe up to 500 degrees, but I have not tested it yet, seems to be all metal and should be fine. This is made in Vietnam according to the packaging. I will update this review if expected durability is not met. So far I am very happy with this artistic addition to my pots. The knobs for my Le Creuset, Lodge and Staub are interchangeable, therefore this can be attached to almost any enameled cast iron lid and used whenever needed. Also, as others have mentioned it can make lifting the lid easier due to the shape. Makes for easy grip on heavy lids. Really nice looking too!

This knob is large for larger size Dutch ovens
Just love this knob! It is not only cute, but also functional. The larger size fits your hand better and makes lifting the heavy lids on the larger sized Staub Dutch ovens not only easier, but safer especially with a mitt or pot holder. It never fails to produce compliments. Also look at the other animal knobs, my favorites, besides the cow, are the pig and rabbit for 6 quart pots and up or the rooster and fish for smaller pots.

Staub Cow Knob Fun Addition To Cast Iron
Purchased thru International Shipping. It arrived a little earlier than expected and tracking was decent. Knob itself is well made and looks great on cast iron lid. So glad I searched for this and found deal thru international shipping.

About these animal knobs .
Finally gave in and bought several. They fit on Staub and Le Creuset. THEY ARE HUGE ANd HIGH. Maybe too big for proportion of pots smaller than about 3 quarts, but not bothering me. And, yes, they make everything heavier. Nicely done and worth the years I waited to get them.

This knobs can also be used on Le Creuset pots. Love that I can personalise my pots, and as these animal knobs are larger than the ones the pots come with, it makes the lids easier to hold.
