Trophy RidgeWhisker Biscuit V Archery Arrow Rest

Easy to install, all aluminum but the whiskers and arrow guide “loading” things, was paper tuned in literally 30 minutes in my shop. Held up my arrow which has 185 grains worth of field tip and insert weight at the front, are 5mm (real skinny) and has no possibility of failing like my mechanical rest (unless my lock-tite is defective). Hopefully I can add to this review with a picture of a nice Georgia buck or black bear this September. Price was nice too, 4 dollars cheaper than cabelas low end model of this, which I kind of hate because Bezos really doesn’t need/deserve my dollar but times are tough in these parts on a working man. I bought this item because the whisker biscuit on my Bear was not large enough to accommodate the Sirius supernova 2.0 arrows I was tuning with. There were some comments about this not being strong enough for a heavier set up, but in my experience that is not true. I am tuning with 543 gr bare shaft supernova 2.0's and I have had no problem with weight. Final setup will be 590 gr. Great rest for the price.

Found to sloppy with triangle spacing. Went back to the original round Whisker Biscuit. Easy return.

Received product and package was open. Mounting kit was missing. Not satisfied paying regular price for an opened/used part that's listed as new.

I am a big fan of the regular whisker biscuit and I use the "small" hole version as I shoot micro-diameter arrows so I was very excited about trying the new V-con version thinking it would center my arrow in the V slot. However, as soon as I placed my arrow in the V it sank into the right side of the bristles. I thought it was a fluke so I put it in again and tried drawing my bow and again - it sank into the right side bristle. The design is flawed and it needs to have stiffer bristles on both sides on the bottom of the V to support micro arrows. Trophy ridge - fix this and you'll have a winner! Don't and it's worthless for anyone shooting the .166 diameter arrows. Too bad! I may try to modify an existing biscuit by cutting my own V slot from a medium biscuit and see if it works.

Just got this today and it is clearly used. Not happy paying full price for a used product.

This new style will not properly function with small diameter heavier arrows. I use Easton FMJ’s and the weight of the arrow simply parts the lower bristles and the arrow falls within the rest.
