I honestly love these bars. With that being said, can you find a better tasting one? Sure! However, I challenge you to find a better tasting bar WITHOUT sucralose. Over the last 15+ years, the food industry has forced sucralose down our throats and with sucralose being 600 times sweeter than sugar, we're used to things being sweet, therefore, taste better.I've reached the point in my diet where I am more concerned with nutrient value over taste because let's face it, most whole foods are bland. I want protein, taste is secondary in priority. Good thing is, this bar does have sweetner, a natural sweetner known as stevia. Plus it has a touch of sweetness with sugar as well. Let's face it, sugar in moderation is not bad and this one has moderate levels.Stevia is from a plant, sucralose (splenda) is chemically produced.Sucralose: it's gotten to the point where the American Dietetics Association hasn't taken a stance on sucralose because more and more tests are finding just how unsafe this sweetner is (I have a few friends that work in the Office of the Surgeon General as Dietititans). They haven't taken a stance because the FDA still lists it as an approved general food sweetner, but the ADA is not endorsing it.Anyways, I avoid sucralose. You'll find most of the quest bars have sucralose, hence the better taste. It's up to you, do you want the nutrition with or without the artificial sweetner.

I have had every protein bar under the sun this was the grossest one I have ever tasted!!

I love quest bars and was wondering why nobody copied quest. I thought I found some. While nutrition is about the same as quest bars as well as texture, the taste is not the same. The taste of those bars is not what I expected. I do not taste any cheesecake flavor. More like mocha chocolate - not quite sure about the taste. I like that with save and subscribe those bars are cheaper than quest and may order them every once in a while, but I know I will buy quest bars in between since the Quest bars taste a lot better

Written on their Facebook. I just tasted your cheesecake protein bar. It had great advertised macros but tasted nothing like cheesecake. I should ask for a refund but I'll just avoid your products. What ingredients were taken from or meant to simulate cheesecake and do you believe this is misleading? TIA.Costumers Be wary of any business that uses, "Gourmet, Natural" etc. in their product name. Most are money hungry.

I love this flavor of the Ansi Gourmet Cheesecake line of protein bars. They are so tasty and delicious. They also are the perfect size and have the best macronutrients of any protein bar I've seen. They also have 20g of fiber and only 40 mg of SODIUM. I love these bars :).

Bad texture and no taste.

I'm guessing gourmet cheesecake is imply a brand name, because there's no cheesecake flavor or texture to these bars. they do have distinct chocolate chips, but the bar itself doesn't do much to remind me of cookie dough. If I didn't have other protein bars to choose from, I'd buy this again, but I do. It's okay is a perfect rating for this bar; it's not horrible, it's not great - it' just ok.
