PAC BB-2PR Pair of Bass Blocker Designed for 6" Speakers, Green

Used these on my new 2.75" kicker dash speakers. I have a 10"sub and four 6.5"s. I didn't want these handling anything below 600hz (speakers came with 300hz which requires soldering). I believe these are 16 guage and seem very good quality. Speakers sound great. Blocks the frequncies that could damage them and allows me to increase the volume worry free.

I got these for my 3.5 dash speakers in my 14 ram. I thought they would be a little bit too high of a frequency filter but they are just right. I tried a set of 300hz bass blockers as well and they still had a little too much bass. These are perfect to clear up the muddiness between the door speakers and dash speakers. The highs sound much more crisp now and I can play my system louder!! Definitely recommended for anybody who has bigger dash speakers.

The tweeters sound amazing. These separated the lower frequencies and brought the higher ones alive. The tweeters are crisp and clear.

I used these in my 2015 toyota tundra 1794 with the factory Jbl system. They worked great on the rear speakers but they didn't work at ALL for the front. Reason being, the front door speakers are sub only I found out and these just basically shut them off with just a little static crackle noise. That was not a problem with these though. They work exactly as they should as long as the signal going to your speaker is a full range signal.

After upgrading my 6.5 midbass and tweeters my factory 4 inch mids were out of their league. The only 4 ohm, 4 inch speakers I could find that were narrow enough to fit the doors of my Jetta Sportwagen clipped badly in the 500-800hz range, but there was a huge hole in my soundstage without them. These bass blockers solved that! The 4's don't clip anymore, even at the highest volumes I'll ever get close to. Rock music, singer/songwriter, vocal, and classic/old school music sounds absolutely amazing now, better than I've ever heard in a car. Heavy guitar riffs have more presence and vocals sound more full. 100% worth the low price.

Good, not for very high power.

I originally got the 300hz version for my 4in front speakers in my bronco. I swapped them out for these 600hz ones and the sound is better and cleaner. Very pleased. Oh and btw - these things are UNI-directional when doing install. I had to call PAC to make sure.

They did what they were suppose to do eliminate the low base. Happy with them.

Used it with 6" woofers and it kills th bass from them no problem
