Good Batteries.
I ordered two packages of AA batteries. They arrived DOA. Even after I charged them back to full, when I used them they had not retained their charge. I later found out the batteries were charged just the device I put them in did not recognize them or any batteries. Thus I changed my rating to 5 stars.

Love rechargeable batteries
These batteries are great. We like that they’re so much less wasteful considering how many items we need to power in our home. The charger is even a reasonable size (purchased separately)

higher mAh than other brands
Used one of two packs I purchased. They are a few years old, so I had to charge them up. No issues there. I needed something with a higher mAh that what is usually sold in stores. Works for remotes, my thermostat (who decided that was a good idea) and some older computer mice that use a single battery (my main use).

The specification includes a ten year life, and that it is pre-charged. This means it has very low leakage. I have small frequency-counter for use in 'Ham Radio' that may only be used once or twice a month. and maybe charged twice a year. It uses four of these batteries. I have had this counter for over twelve years and it is only now that one of the set of four batteries has failed. These batteries are installed inside the counter with the leads soldered to the ends of the batteries. Of course all fout were replaced and put the counter back into use.

They come pre-charged. So the first time you use them, make sure you use them until fully used. That way the batteries have a memory of when they need to be re-charged.

Duracell holds a charge for longer than most other battery brands, but you do have to be a bit careful with the lifetime longevity of the batteries. To remedy this I would suggest getting a charger that recharges batteries individually instead of recharging in pairs.
