For a Firmer lift should I go down a size

No get your size for comfort and the butt fabric is so thin it has more chance to tear if it's too tight

Will this help hide inner thigh chub? I don't usually mind it but bought some vintage pants and that part looks bleh and the rest looks great.

I would say it depend since my inner thigh is not really noticeable it did hide it. There is a good level of compression if u just need it to organize the shape. I wear it myself under clothes and it looks and feels better
