I live in a really old house with poor lighting, and my room has east-facing windows, so I have pretty decent light until the sun has risen, and after that...not so much. This is not ideal considering I do my hair and makeup in my room at my vanity table. After switching out my ceiling light bulbs for brighter ones and still having trouble seeing in the mirror, I looked around for lighted mirrors, which led me to look for light strips to stick onto my existing mirror. Found these and decided to try them since they weren't too expensive. I liked that they had multiple brightness and color options, since the amount and temperature of the light I need depends on the time of day and what I'm doing. I'm happy to say that they work fantastically!Installing them was very simple. They come with mounting stickers, so all I did was clean around the edge of my mirror, which is white laminate, with rubbing alcohol, peel the stickers off the sheet, stick them to the lights, and stick the lights to the mirror. My mirror is rounded at the top and flat on the bottom, but it was pretty easy to maneuver around the curve since the wires have a lot of give. I will say that they looked pretty awful at first because the wires really stand out, but I covered them up with some white gaffer tape and it made a HUGE difference.These things are indeed quite bright. They seemed blindingly bright the first few days and just regular bright now, but I don't think that's the lights getting dimmer with time, I think it's me getting used to there being actual decent light in the room. I mostly keep it on natural light on the highest brightness, but it is very easy to switch temperatures/brightness with the remote when I need to.This light strip comes with a USB connector, which offers you some options for powering your lights. You can plug it into your laptop, connect it to a power block and plug it into an outlet, plug directly into a surge protector that has USB ports, or, if you are like me and don't have outlets close enough, you can use a power bank. I purchased a 10,000 mAh power bank specifically to use with this light strip because both available outlets are several feet away. I keep the lights plugged into the bank and the bank sits nicely on my table, out of the way. When I need to use the lights, I just hit the power button on the power bank to wake it up, and then turn the lights on. I've been using them this way for about 2.5 months with absolutely no issues, with use time ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours at a time, and the lights being turned on and off multiple times a day, nearly every day. Depending on how much I use the lights, a full charge of the power bank usually gives me about a week to a week and a half of use, and it's really easy to just charge the power bank at a time I know I won't be using the lights. (Bonus: if you don't like the blue LED that shines when the lights are off, the power bank will solve that issue. Once the lights have been off for a certain amount of time, the power bank goes back to sleep, and the blue LED turns off since there's no power going to the lights anymore.)All in all, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. It does exactly what I wanted it to do at literally a fraction of the cost and effort it would have taken to buy and set up an actual lighted mirror.

I ordered this lights to put in a mirror I got for a long time , I should have order a 12ft not 10 ft it it’s a bit short but it will work. It is easy to install they provide you some double sided tape to make it easy to install, fast shipping .

great warm/cool light toggle & dimming options. set up is pretty easy. i ended up using some tape to keep the power switch within reach. i bought these about 3.5 years ago and im buying my replacement now. the lights were working well until a few months ago. i had to keep jiggling the power/control thing to get it to work properly. but it broke for good the other night.

Purchased this exact brand two years ago. Loved the lights- I kept them turned on continuously that whole time with the exception of unplugging them for vacation. They make the bathroom so cozy and I love the warm/ cool tone setting as well as the dimming options. I recently moved and had to buy them again. I accidentally bought a similar one from a different brand and the directions said not for ongoing use, and there wasn’t different hue options either. I went through my order list to exchange them for these and I’m so happy to have them back :) one of my favorite Amazon purchases!!

these seriously are great!

I was looking for lights for my new vanity and mirror that I got, and I was pretty leery because these are $16 and you know the saying “you get what you paid for”. They are amazing! The reviews don’t lie! They fit around my whole vanity mirror, and the light options you have with these are great! It came with more options than my $500 vanity and its mirror came with.I loved them so much that I purchased another pair for my full length mirror so I can see my OOTD better and have better light in that corner.With the sticky’s that come with it to install them, I feel like you could use these anywhere! I know if I need more, this will be my go to, or what I tell other people to buy!If you’re on the fence cause the cheaper price like I was, get them! You won’t regret it!(I’ll post pictures of where I used mine in a little bit)

I bought these lights to go around the mirror of my makeup desk. It’s about 14"x20” so I would not be able to use all of the lights that are attached in this product. Therefore, once I would have cut off the extra lights that didn’t fit, I would not have had enough light output to be able to put on my make up. I decided that I must return them. Too bad, I did really like the different color values that you could switch the LEDs to.
