Legendary Whitetails Men's Journeyman Rugged Shirt Jacket Jacket

I needed a jacket for summer as most of mine are winter coats, saw this one and decided to get it. It feels and looks well made and should last a long time, It's perhaps a little bit more expensive than some jackets offered but it fits well and feels comfortable. I haven't tried it in rain yet but the material appears to be like a light weight wax cotton which should keep off any summer shower. Overall I'm glad I got this jacket, it fits the bill for me as a late spring to early autumn jacket, looks good, and, hopefully, it will last a long time.

Good fit & sizing is correct. Waterproof and windproof, wear this over a thin jumper and its plenty warm. Pockets are a bit shallow for a modern phone. Lovely colour gets plenty of complements. I also bought this in Twig colour.

Sort of good, but also not. Material feels quite plasticky, even after a wash rather than the brushed cotton I maybe expected. Fit and style is really nice, but the build quality is suspect. No visible flaws, but when I went to open the velcro inner pocket, the velcro stayed firmly closed and the pocket seam ripped instead, creating a hole in the lining. I just wish Carhaart had their own version of this.

This shirt is not a Legendary whitetails Journeyman shirt as shown in the images, the material is cheap and not the same colour as shown and sizing is different from original Legendary whitetails shirts

Jacket was advertised as being waxed cotton suede but it feels plasticy and synthetic, not at all what I was expecting. Quality seems poor for the price, with loose threads, poor stitching, etc. A real shame because I have bought a few items from this brand and they are usually ok. The only positive thing I would say about this jacket is that the size and fit of the tall size is actually quite good. I am 6 foot 4 and these are if anything slightly oversized on me.

Ordered an XL and the fit is nearly perfect. Love the feel, look and weight of this jacket! I will follow-up as far as duarbility goes, but so far, this jacket is very nice to wear.

I rarely review items but I wanted to say that this is an excellent jacket. Very well made in every respect. I especially like the way it keeps me warm without taking up a lot space. It's very comfortable. Like most high quality garments I found it a bit large but there's nothing wrong with this jacket.
