AmazonBasics Magnetic Torpedo Level - 9-Inch

Solid product from Amazon Basics that functions equally to hardware store brand names. Similar to most amazon basics products it has equal quality at less price than the big name brands. Construction quality is very good and has no problem going into my toolbox. Having a ruler on one end come in extremely handy. The magnet is not as strong as I hoped but if you are using aren’t relying on that too much this will do for any project.

This level is small, compact, and does exactly what I need it to do which is to have a basic level for around the house. The magnet feature is nice and I don't rely on the ruler, but it is overall great value for the money.

The AmazonBasics 9" Magnetic Torpedo Level can be used to level horizontally, vertically, and at a 45 degree angle. Torpedo levels are ideal when working in tight spaces due to their small size and they have v-grooves which can be fit against a pipe to tell if they are fitted properly. This level has a magnetic edge which can come in very handy when working with certain types of metal. However, the magnet was weaker than I expected; it was easy to bump the level slightly and it would move. If I bumped it a little more, it fell off. The level is lightweight and has a measuring ruler on the opposite side of the magnet. I found the aluminum edges on the ends of the ruler and the magnet to be quite sharp; it would be safer and more ideal for the edges/ends to be rounded or ground down. The overall quality of the level is quite good; the plastic seems strong and even when it fell off the cabinet I had stuck it to, it did not break. I have had other brands of magnetized torpedo levels which had a stronger magnets, but if this is not a feature which is important to you, then the level will work great for your purposes. ================================ Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Compact and comes in handy in many situations. One concern is that the print for measuring might wear down over time.

This is a nicely made spirit level. It feels pretty solid, the magnetic side makes for some useful practicality and the 3 differently angled levels make for easy work of leveling. The built in ruler on the opposite side from the magnet is a nice extra touch. Good quality at a bargain price.

"AmazonBasics", une Marque que je découvre depuis quelques mois et dont j'apprécie la qualité de ses différents produits, nombreux et très variés ..... Ce petit niveau léger et passe-partout présente bien des avantages. Il a tous les atouts de ses grands frères sans en avoir les inconvénients ! Son premier avantage est sa légèreté et sa maniabilité (possibilité de l'utiliser avec une seule main). Son deuxième avantage c'est qu'il est complet : il dispose de trois fioles pour vérifier le niveau horizontal, vertical et à 45° et d'une petite règle de 15 cm sur le dessus. En troisième point, il est magnétique et donc très pratique à utiliser sur des surfaces métalliques ! Enfin, sa petite taille permet de l'utiliser dans des lieux exigus et de l'insérer très facilement dans une boîte à outils. C'est un outil de bonne qualité, très bien pensé et qui devient vite indispensable ! Son petit prix de vente est assurément intéressant. Donc, c'est un niveau à avoir en complément du niveau classique, plus adapté à des mesures sur de plus grandes dimensions.

En esta ocasión vamos a valorar el nivel torpedo de AmazonBasics. Se trata de un nivel de 22,9 cm, con 3 viales para medir niveles horizontales, verticales y a 45 grados. Nada más sacarlo de la caja apreciamos que es un nivel doméstico. Para tener en una caja de herramientas doméstica o de pequeño tamaño (son 4,5 cm de ancho y menos de 2 de grosor). NO PESA absolutamente NADA. Acostumbrado a los niveles tradicionales que pesan, sorprende, parece de juguete, pero eso si, funciona perfectamente. El plástico no presenta ninguna imperfección y tiene excelentes acabados Por uno de los lados tenemos un imán para fijarlo a superficies metálicas y por el otro una regla en pulgadas o cm, con un agujero en el centro que permite ver el nivel horizontal si utilizamos la regla simultáneamente. En ambos extremos tenemos unos agujeros para colgar. En cuanto al precio, está fenomenal, por menos de 8 € es un básico para tener en casa. Además el tamaño es, bajo mi punto de vista, el ideal para las chapuzas domésticas. Y por supuesto de calidad. Recomendable. Espero que os resulte útil mi opinión.
