I purchased this to take advantage of my high speed internet by hard wiring my Fire Cube direct to my router. I plugged in the data cable from the adapter to the USB port on the Cube and then hooking up a CAT6 Ethernet cable between the adapter and the Cube. I did not have to use an external power source. The Cube supplies it on the USB port. Have had zero problems with the connection.

This device works great, it allows you to connect an Ethernet cable to you Amazon Fire TV Stick, so you can have a more stable internet connection to stream your favorite shows and movies. The USB ports are great to add a memory stick or hard disk and see your media on your TV, keep in mind that the Amazon Fire TV only support FAT32 format, does not support NTFS format. You can also add an RF keyboard dongle and it works perfect or connect an USB keyboard too.

Arrived quickly and easy to install. I have a USB port on my TV and I bought this for my digital antenna as we don't plug anything else into the USB port but in case we want to, there is an extra port. My antenna is plugged into the port and works well.

Not quality built at all. First off the ethernet with 3 usb side didn't work at all. Went to take it off, and it came apart. Thankful I only bought it for the usb adapter part anyways. I just figured instead of getting two usb adapters, I would get the one with the ethernet and 3 usb ports. Wrong, didn't work anyway.

This was a Godsend for my husband who bought a new computer without an Ethernet port - which is quite common in our wifi age. He is frequently attends important zoom meetings, and was frustrated when the wifi signals got squirrely. I knew a wired connection would be more reliable, but he had no port. This Ethernet adapter solved the problem. No speed loss at all, and he can now zoom problem free. I got another one for one of our TVs.

It comes in handy when I travel, so I don't have to bring as many USB plugs.

Ok so yes this works great on a firestick I can adds a usb flash and record or load a video the lan speeds (wired to router) shows slower speed then wifi but it is a better connection and the firestick lags a lot less so shows do not keep showing the round circle trying to connect usb port works great and is definitely a add value to any firestick

Funktioniert nicht am Fire TV stick 4k Max (2nd Gen); weder USB Ports noch LAN werden erkannt.

I love this product... however you will need a usb power lead for it to work correctly... the splice cable for it to plug between the device USB and the adapter does actually charge phones and tablets buuuttt it's a very slow charge, I've never had my devices battery run out even after 12 hours of use mind so its not that bad and I've got 2 hard drives (one 4tb 2.5" and a 6tb 3.5") and the rj45 cable plugged in as part of a media server control interface... over all a cheap and cheerful option
