We bought 3 different kinds of alarms. This was the smallest but it works the best and has the longest range. We have a big house and it works from one end of the first floor to the far end of the second floor - the other kinds wouldn't do that. We use one control that my wife wears on a chain around her neck and 2 alarms. One of the alarms is 50 feet away and upstairs. The others didn’t work as good. Highly recommended. Ours uses a 2032 lithium battery. To replace the battery I use a sharp knife to pry open the control that says SOS and then it’s easy to replace the battery.

I live with and take care of my elderly father. Our house is kind of large and I was concerned I would not hear him call me if he is in any distress. This came with 2 pagers - so I have one in my bedroom and one in my den. It has 3 sos buttons, so I have one in his bedroom, one by his recliner, and one in his bathroom. The sound is loud and clear. He loves to wear one on the provided lanyards on days he feels more unstable. Really easy to set up and use. Just plug it up!

It works great. I am having issues with the caregiver’s unplugging the device, so I put one receiver in her room and told her if they don’t answer the call button to hold it down and it makes a siren that won’t turn off until they answer her! That fixed the problem of them unplugging it. Highly recommend this. I will be ordering more bottons to have in various locations.

This product helped me out so much as a caregiver for my Father in law. He would occasionally fall at night. With this he could push the button and ring me in my room. There are so many sounds to choose from. And the volume range is great. Very easy to use.

The item works great and the bell is loud and distinctive. The only thing I would like to have is a portable bell that doesn't require 115 VAC. Something that the responder could carry around that would have the same range.

Bought to keep an ear out for my elderly mom. At first, we had to remind her that she is wearing a button to call us whenever she needs -( I still do, every night after she's in bed!). The main point is that if she needs me for ANYTHNG, she should never feel I am too far for her to let me know she needs help. All she has to do is press the "sos" button and I come! This is a very practical and convenient piece of equipment for the elderly.

Have been staying with a friend in a large home for post op care following hip replacement. I decided to give this a try and it's quite a nifty little device. I recommend highly. We plugged it in to a wall socket in her very long hallway so that it could be heard anywhere. Volume control works perfectly. The real deal is just how many "tunes" or chimes are available. We kept pressing the little button on the portion that plugs into the wall and it seemed to never stop with choices. We even had a quick portion of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the Nutcracker Suite, jazz options, you name it. Had us laughing it was so funny. Made a choice of something not quite so musical and more "chime-y". I needed some help getting out of bed so I pressed the call button on my necklace and my friend headed out to her front door thinking someone was ringing her doorbell in quite the opposite direction of where I was waiting for her to assist. At least it kept us laughing and realizing immediately that we needed to choose a differnt un-doorbell-like chime. Love this item!!!!

Funciona súper bien, y se escucha cañón en toda la casa aunque esté en una recámara. Nosotros escogimos un tango muy famoso que tiene como una opción de timbre de las parece 60 que tiene. El botón que se queda con la persona convaleciente es súper práctico. Simplemente aprieta el botón rojo y es todo, incluso lo usa para dormir colgado del cordón que viene en la caja y no se ha oprimido por equivocación aún .
