How much do you inflate up to? i think i may have over inflated and my si joints took majority of the weight

It depends on how you plan to use the wobble cushion. If you wish to train your core muscles, we would recommend you inflate the cushion as full as possible (but obviously not too full that it becomes a ball!). If, however, you only plan on using it on a chair while working, studying, etc., we would recommend you inflate it to 60%~70%. You can also experiment with different air pressure levels and find out which level suits you best.

Remove the pump from the needle, leaving the needle in the cushion then press down on the cushion until the required amount of air has been removed.

can I sit on this in front of the tv on a carpeted floor? will this still help with core muscles?

I dont know about core muscles- but I got this for my boy and I love sitting on it! It can take an adult weight no problem as long as you don't over inflate it
